Well this is my second atempt at map making,

Some stairs with a guard...

( dont ask about the beacon and the machine shop... )

And part of some temple...

( looks cool when playing it )

the first one is ok but i dont get whats with the beacon machine shop or the archon, i like the second one but it has alittle too many sprites, but i still like it...

5 on first one 7 on 2nd one...

And of course 20 sprites covering up the blokyness. Otherwise it looks good.

Looks ok. And oviously the sprites on the staris (not the part attaching to the cliff) will blockyless. It is afterall one whole product. Try removing the sprites on the parts that attach to the cliff and see what happens wink.gif

I hate when people complain about sprites, they arnt bad, they are also there to make maps look good, thats their whole purpose.

In the jungle, old builds got cracks between them, and plants live in there, just look at temples in the jungle. Just compair some stuff without sprites and with sprites.

The sprites are the only problem... mainly. There's a bit of blockyness.

You seemed to cover up most of the stairs sides, you should try to create terrain to blend things together, rather then covering up things with sprites. People will make you famous for it!

It looks good, but there really isn't anything very special about a single fligth of stairs.
Try adding something else.

The second bunch that you did with reduced sprites look better. Good job man, just keep trying. What you should also do is disable cannons so you the blue fire with a unit visible.
