I heard on the new's today before I went to school that the people we are in war with, Tryed to attempt another suicide collision into another tower, But the air force shot the aircraft down. If they are still trying, Do you think we will eventually get bombed?

i dont honestly think that anyone would come close enough to the us to bomb it. I think that with all of our wars other places, why not blow the living crap out of there and let curruption reingh then bomb us, rather than try to jsut dent us.

If they try for long enough, they'll eventually manage it.

It would not be challenging to bomb an American target. I think it would be tough from an aircraft, but from the ground it would be simple and easy.

If we are talking bombed as in another plane flying into another building I say HIGHLY UNLIKELY. First off becuase my mom works at the air port and when air marshells (pretty much airplane commando guys dressed as civilians) come to check in and buy a ticket, they show their I-D and with oput even paying a dime the air marshalls leave, walk to the security check point and they don't go through the scanners becuase they are carring weapons and such. Those guys are big too I have seen them. Plus all the american guys and men on the plane would instantly know whats happening and try to retake the plane becuase us americans are bad ass.

If we are talking about getting bombed as in another modern country bombing us then no way either, they may hate us and not trade with our country but bomb us? Worst decision a country could make to with us right now becuase Bush would so do something stupid like invade that country that bombed us. We americans take no shit!

I think that the risk is greater at areas like nuclear power plants. bridges and dams, because there are so many of them, the possibility to do alot of damage exists, and they are difficult to secure)

It would be easier for terrorists to for example, use a suicide bomber to destroy a dam, flooding a nearby town, then destroy a skyscraper again.

We could easilly get bombed, but you all aren't really talking about being bombed are you? With the push of a button, North Korea could nuke any American city with ease. And then our faulty missile defense program would have a field day with those! [/sarcasm]

But then again, flooding a small town is totally different from destroying one of the largest economic centers in the world. A small town effects Americans while the economic structure effects the world. I have a feeling the destruction of the WTC was thought to lead to another Depression.

I personally belive America is going to lead itself into destruction.

Highly unlikely and a modern country isn't even going to think about ing with the united states, for one thing we have the best military in the world (maybe not the largest but the best), we got more nukes then any other country, and we got a president that is semi crazy and will actually attack when others wouldn't....plus its a death wish becuase what do they hope to gain from attacking America??? Terrorist have done it and look where they are now? Most of the high end leaders have been captured and tortured, all thats left is that one terrorist leader (im not even going to attempt to try and spell his name) in iraq who organizes his terrorist group to attack american troops and Osoma Bin Ladan.

Yeah my whole family thinks it will. That's why we're planning on moving to Sweden, Canada, or New Zealand.

I think that the US will get bombed, but in no way even put a dent in our integrity. Believe me you, we've pissed enough people off.

I still don't think we have pissed any one off enough to bomb us. If a modern country was pissed at us they would probably send us a letter saying they are pissed off. Think about it --- its been roughly 3 years since 9/11 and not one terrorist act has taken place on the united states. Yes over in other countries but not on american soil. Ain't going to happen and like I said before, even if a modern country would decide to attack us it would be political suicide for that country, becuase many countries rely on american business in their countries and trade with america. Plus it is very clear that america has the most powerful army in the entire world (maybe not the biggest but the best).
