Yall probly know bout this but heres how to do it... a flying zerg... I can only describe in pics so look!
(requires an advanced edit)
Heres a brief description- In the middle of space or water or wtevr make ONE block of walkable terrain. Put a building on it and put a unit or 2 on that building and... there!
-make this exactly, i made 2 lings on it. wtevr u do DO NOT make terrain bigger then a square

what editor? ill tell u why if u tell me what editor u have.
I have all editors, and need none to view any image. Try clicking on the screenshot for yourself. They should be attached .jpg files, not related to maps in any way.

i have NO idea what your talking about! They are Jpegs!!!!! DUH! one picture was SCREENSHOT during the editor and then cropped for size, then one was a SCREENSHOT during sc then cropped for size... Try not complaining and actually trying! what do u mean? i ment what editor are u using to try doing this? If you dont wanna do this (obviously u dont) then dont!
-StarFire edit was what i used but i doesnt matter....
I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here. The zerg units actually lose the ground attribute?

yes, exactly... i thought this was known way before i posted this... but yea.
the problem is they just run around randomly because they are in space. its cool thogh...
I didn't try to make the triggers, I tried to view the screenshots. Does anyone else have any trouble opening them?
Yeah,

WarHammer, try posting the images as .jpg
First of all, those are TIF images, not jpg. Did you just change the .tif to .jpg? Because that doesn't work for the purpose you want it to.
Here they are:

You simply changed the extension; you didn't actually CONVERT from one format to another.
Get the map so we can see if you're lying or not
Those images work anyway. It's just the thumbnail that doesn't work... jeez.
Plus, this "trick" is old. The zerg do not lose their ground attribute, that is impossible.

if he hits ground, hes grounded.
You cant control the zergling but it could be usd for some weird bound or something... And i said its old, but it seems some people have 'forgotten.'
Yah, i tried and.. nice fct.. lol its funny watching em sprint around the map
i'd name 'em and make 'em walk around.. LOL!
This can only happen preplaced, at least it might be better then null terrain that you can walk on that makes water walkable
Umm...
Do you mean to say that a unit can walk from Null Terrain onto any other terrain type?
Hehehe... Siege Tanks on Water... Water Lurkers... WEEEEE!

lol i thought about that but some units (such as siege tanx) just dont appear in sc... sorry... but maybe i did it wrong... and i didnt try everyunit such as lurkers...
I JUST GOT AN IDEA. burrow ur ling in space. (im not sure bout lurks. might be to big or somthin)
ill find out if lurks work.
ADDITION:
lurks dont really work... but i found out how to make a ling stand still in space... if hes next to a building while running around, make him attack it... he'll just stand there.
[attachmentid=6008]
if the pic doesnt work then i dunno what to say cause i dunno how to "convert". works for me
It's not new, I posted something very similar a while ago, and I'm sure it had been posted about earlier than that. You had the smallest bit of Installation platform you can with isometrical terrain, put a spawning pool over it, and place a unit on the terrain, with it's legit placement. It would walk arouynd on the space randomly and climb up cliffs or w.e until it was on normal terrain. Tanks would explode if sieged under any building, even non Terran ones like the Spawning Pool.
The idea of making the ling stand still in space is cool though.
With the Null terrain, you have tile number 1-13 next to invalid ground walking terrain, and have it walk from the null tile onto water or whatever, and it would go on it. If you have some of this null, and put water down the middle, and creep on the null, making units patrol from one bit of the null over the water to the other allowed it to walk without any difficulty, and rally points have the same effect.
