Welcome, everyone, to the sacred halls of the Spriter Lt.Fatso (Spriting pseudonym: HyperX). I spent about 15 minutes on each of these, and what you will see is first the original, then the finished product. I will continuously edit the title post with new pictures.

You changed the color of his armor....Whats the point of this topic? I could see something if you had created a megaman sprite from scratch, but changing his color on a screenshot isnt that hard man

mm's armor is almost all the time blue.

and the teal armor... welll he said the 2nd was the edited...

I did edit it, though not on a scale that most people would consider to really be 'editing' it.

That would be so cool if PS2 could play nintendo games like megaman to bring back da ole' days...

SCAM. If you know anything about megaman games, you'd know that if you change his weapon his color scheme changes. And two different weapons are being used in those screenshots. Nice try?

He said he edited them PearS. Read what he says before you post. Hey "HyperX", make a Mega Man sprite from scratch instead of just changing the colors. If you can't then go find one and modify it to look cooler like I do

Does this not mean that the first image is the actual screen and the second image is the one he edited?

Yes but you said it was a scam. Which makes no sense. You might have meant sham and you were clearly exhibiting actions the lead to the conclusion that you never read the initial post.

I don't think you understand my argument. If the second picture is the edited version of the first one, then wouldht the weapon equippe be the same and just Megaman's uniform be different colors? Or many I don't understand what he exactly did. Did he change the weapon and what it shoots? Or did he just change Megaman's armor. If he just changed Megaman's armor then why is the weapon equipeed different?

Im sure he changed weapons, but the actuall mega man looks to bad for it to be that actual weapon color, so I dont what in the crap he did.

I also noticed that Megaman's eye is looking elsewhere in the second picture. Thanks for clearing that up techghost.

For F-ing Christ's sake! I recolored it painstakingly, pixel-by-freaking-pixel.

If each one of those squares is a pixel then...YAWN. Anybody can do that.

Well, technically, yes. But I also had to decide how to do all the shading, et cetera.

Also, check out the third picture for a more up-to-date piccy. It looks very unprofessional, but I need some feedback.

Make the shot 16-bit and give it an outline of sorts even if it's just a darker blue and also make it look more Capcomish.

Personally, I'm not a great pixel artist, but I've made a pretty decent, but not anywhere near finished, spritesheet for a Kirby-like charcter I made up.
I also made a weird-ass yellow thing that looked kinda like a robot.
I'd post them, but they were lost when my mom accidentaly re-formatted the wrong drive...

Which means that I "painstakingly" made them from scratch, including shading, outlining, color choices, and so forth, "pixel-by-pixel."

Did you read my most recent post? I updated the picture. Refer to the top for the so-called 'finished product' (or at least I think it is.)
