But those are half the fun!
Nah they're not. It's spam. Any topics made asking questions that are answered in the RPG topic will be deleted without warning.

There are several "that"s in a map. Which "that" are you refering to?
im refering to helms deep final
Ok then ... let me retry here ...

OH!! im sorry i read your question wrong. ok one thing i would like to know is how he made it so player 1 gets to pick between two guys and i would also like to know how to make the guys stronger cause when you pick either guy ones strength is 360 instead of 50 and also how do you make it so that you keep getting men after a serten amount of your men are killed
The last time I heard questions like that was when my father asked me how to build a marine at a barracks.
I'm not going to take the time and describe how to do all those things because they are all pre-amature level mapping skills. In other words, if you've bothered trying to make those triggers or change the stats on units, then you would have found how to do so quickly and easily.
My only suggestion to you right now is to stop posting questions that (im sure dont seem stupid to you but) are stupid and start working more on the map editor starcraft provided. If you absolutely need to, find some unlocked maps and open and look at them to see how they work.
you see i just started using the map edit and i dont know much and a simple point in the right direction would be nice but i guess some people dont want to waste there time.
I did point you in the right direction.
First I suggested you read through the help files (which gives you enough information to make almost ANY map).
Second I suggested you throw yourself strait into a map editor and into a map and see how other people did things in their map.
The only way I could possibly help you is to say "click here move mouse down ... more ... more ... stop, ok click again ... now move mouse to the left ... good ... now up a little" or go to your house and show you in person.

I think I have that at home, but it might be a while before I get back to the comp at home (kinda grounded right now...), but if I do, I'll send it to you.
I think you should just try and find out what everything does... I've done that in the beginning.
ye just try making some maps and you will learn in no time.. i find it easier to try for yourself then to look at others at start since i just found it confusing to look at others maps when i was new..
anyway.. hellow and welcome
My suggestion: look under to unit properties box.
You should use the help files as a starting point though. As Chu did point out, it's a very basic thing to do.
Most people I know managed to figyre out how to do things that are about three times complex in a day or two.
As the others stated: Take a look at the map editor, browse around, check the help. After you get used to it, then things will be about 20x(exageration) as easy. For me, atleast...
