PICTURESee... That error comes up, but it actually saves. And then it gets annoying. Any way to fix this? OH yeah, my comp is Korean, so instead of "OK" there is the korean box there.
there have been other topics on this. It was found that:
1. the problem is from a sound in your map. (the sound was compressed as much as possible)
2. There is a problem with a string.
3. same as 2, except you must of used SF 2.2.
4. there were other causes, but I forget what they were. I am pretty sure you can search for them.
Also, I don't think your computer being koren will cause any problems.
the problem is caused by a program not properly writing the mpq when there are multiple files present
KOW- I ran into this error several times. Yes, I did NOT use starforge at all for this map.
String I don't think so because I just started it. but I think I'm using quite a bit of strings.
Sound - It could be that..
Suicidal Insanity - That could be it. I'll try cleaning it up
At least for the maps that had this problem from Starforge, deleting the listfile from the archive with an MPQ editor seemed to fix the problem.
O! Cool, it works. Thanks you all. I fixed it from legacy
That happens from time-to-time, if it does save properly, I wouldn't worry about it. Even though it seems there's a problem, if it works—well, there's not really a problem, lol.
This happends to me a lot!... What I do is open the same map in starforge, it gives a warning sign than fixes itself. Nothing gets deleted for me so I'm convinced it works.
Yea, I've had this same problem too many times.
Everybody gets this problem, only people with 1/16 of a brain (like me
) or more know its nothing to worry about unless it pops up and u dont hear/see ur comp do n e thing (unless u have a rly quiet/fast computer, then the only way to tell if it saved is testing it).
I found a new button
what it do *presses*
line? wtf? whatever.
