Hey,
I am 18/m. I love to play UMS. I think it has unfortunately altered my abilities in playing melee and 1v1 maps. So I don't play the original games anymore. I try every once in a while to play a good 2v2 map, but thats ussually another lose on my acccount status. I have a lot of ideas on making new maps but I am not that educated on using Staredit. I am not new to either Starcraft or using a computer but certain things I have a hard time doing. I love starcraft. It is one of the best computer games I think. It has a lot of unique ideas and the engine for playing them is one of the greatest. I used to play Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun, back when it was popular. Now I tried to re-install it and not a soul was online. I think it's funny, how long will starcraft be on. I think it will be a while, and i will always play it. Just as long as more UMS maps are made you can't get bored. I am looking for someone who will assist me in making maps and a starcraft buddy. Anyone who is interested just let me know via emial.

Thanks,

Hey, and thanks to everyone. I hope to finish this map <UMS>. I started really excited but I only have the original Staredit. I can't seem to understand how to download a working map editor. Can anyone share or help me with why none of the editors I seem to find ever work. I just wanted to share something that irritates me. I hate it when people cheat. I mean it ruins all the fun. Hmmm.. Whats everyones' favorite maps just to bring up a topic.

UMS Rules
Evolves is one of the best ums, I like the newest version of 2004 Evolves.

*Max checks his download folder where all of his starcraft maps are located. Max sees 50 versions of evolves 2004. Max wonders which version tsgamer is talking about.*

*Max sees tsgamer has TS in his name, and wonders if he/she has used TS before. Max also wonders if he knows what TS stands for. *

Now, then... In order to get SC xtra 2.5/2.6 to work, you have to install them into the same directory staredit.exe and starcraft.exe are located. If you don't, the programs won't work (unless you have figured out how to change that using regedit). Furthermore, I wish I had this program when I started to make maps. It means that I don't have to try to remember what technology goes with what race. SC Xtra will tell you (in brackets like these).

SCM draft 2: So far, I only use it for the square terrian. When it's trigger and mission briefing are completely usable, I will switch to this program instead of using SC xtra.

Starforge 2.2: Not a bad editor. I tend to stay away from editing the terrain with this editor. It's trigger editor isn't bad. Starforge still has a lot of room for improvement.

You can get all of the editor's from SEN's download database.

< Yea I know they're high in numbers, I am not sure which version I have. Though I know that you don't see Alien vrs Pred. maps a lot. Or the Zergling Plantium or gold. I used to see it more online but now it doesn't seem as popular. What do you think?
> Thats funny. Yea I have been using Ts<>gamer14 ever since I was 14 yrs old. I am now 18. I just keep the year updated on accounts that aren't necessarly vital for people to contact me with. It does stand for something too, your not bad for a human when it  comes to your guesses. LOL. It stands for Tiberian Sun, the game I used to play online. I just keep it simple and use the same prefixs in my emails and account names. Why do think that I have used it in the past? Have we seen eachother in a game or something?
