You may of read about this map in the group work forum. It is a three player RPG map that will no doubt be huge in file size. It is 256 x 256 jungle, and I am using the real time combat RPG style. I can't give you too much information, but here are some screenshots of the basic terrain layout. It's still in the early stages but it is all planned out. The terrain is nothing too special but I've spent a lot of time curing areas that could of been fixed by one sprite. If anyone would like do donate terrain, or have cool ideas for it, please PM me or post here.

Note: These are without any sprites at all, I will be adding 1-6 sprites to each shot.

The terrain looks pretty nice, but I'd like to hear more about the game itself.

For a large rpg, I would first concentrate on getting big pictures layed out before you refine them. Many a time I have had to double back to remake an idea so that it fit in with some new idea I had for the map. I do like the terrain though, especially the stacked ramps. If i could do this this week, i would see if you could widen those more, because then you could make a big sloped hill or something.

Hmm not bad terrain. Its interesting to see something on SEN that isn't totally flashy and stuffed full of sprites for once.

And unless this is simply a topic for terrain (in which case it should go in the Terrain forum) it would be nice to get some more info on the actual map. biggrin.gif

In my opinion, the terrain is the second least important in a map, and sound is last...

Focus on storyline, gameplay, and fun... I REALLY wanna hear the story cuz the Terrain is comin' out nicely, but some blocky parts u can cover up with sprites! GL!
