I'm working on a castle for map and I need a little inspiration, or a guide line. If anyone can do a decent castle I would like to see it. There was a post a long time ago that had a good one but I seem unable to find it.

Yes, I can but don't feel like showing any examples. But might later.

If it's badlands, I may have some good walls you could use for castle-like structures (which I'll add to my brush compilation). Thanks for giving me the idea for making a castle.

Its pretty easy, just try to use your imagination, its easy, especially with SF

Like, use the tile terran and make something out of it

That's great that you can tell me an idea, but I want a picture!

BTW Bringer, I am a millionaire, I just don't feel like showing it. tongue.gif

I had the idea in my mind for a few weeks now about creating a decent castle. With a draw bridge and very high walls, cannons etc. Just alot of work. You need a very creative mind and alot of concentration to pull it off.

Once i get my cd-rom working I will get my alpha copy of my map and send it to you. Ask void about me being able to make a castle and he can vouch.

Okay so now all I have left to do on my map before I start making units/triggers is the castle. Please, anyone? All I ask is a screenshot, I've failed several times already.. sad.gif

Width:45

Tilest: Jungle

There is room for additions in the lower left corner so slightly more room.

Since my CD-Rom is not working I can not take a picture of this so decided to just email myself my old Alpha version of my castle map to this comp. My newer version looks better and has some sprites but this will get the idea across to yea. If you want small inside of a castle I have a map in the Expermental Map download section that has terrain that you might like its called Terrain Map.

That looks great bringer, very well done. I think that you should have extended the path all the way to the water however, that would eliminate blockiness there. And also, the only unblended part is at the base of the towers, from the southwest and southeast sides. Again, very well done. It looks great in the minimap as well.

Well it was just my 00.03% Alpha Build so yea my newer version is better and stuff. But thanks for the complement.

Nice job. It looks really good all around, and putting Seige Tanks on those towers would probably be one of those "ohholycrap" sights.
