plus i havent seen much people maknig civ maps, partly due because they are very easy to make.

except mines is so hard!

:when you build a town(supply depot) you get 4 food and 1 production every turn.
:when you build 4 towns in a square you get a city(CC), which is 3 production and no food.
:when you build 4 cities, you get a Metropolis(Science Facility), which is 5 production
and -1 food.


those are the city values.

in addition, there are bonuses on the map.

Critters:

one gives 2 food, 2 production.
one gives 1 food, 2 production.
one gives 2 food, 1 production.


also there will be height bonuses. when you build on a highground dirt, at the end of every turn you will get some production bonuses and some food loss.

Research:

you will have to reasearch every unit before you can use it.
right now, i have not finished all the reseaching triggers.

Races:

you can choose a race but you can start anywhere you like.

Race Bonuses:

each race might have it's own special unit.

also races can be:

Food
Research
Production
Money(trader)


each will have its own advantage.

also in the game you can research bonuses.
some wonders and bonuses you buy are the same as the race bonuses.
BUT if you have both, you get a double bonus.
IF you got 3 same bonuses, you get 2x of what ever you get, though those upgrades will cost like heck, and the 3rd one only avalible with a wonder.
so if you get 100 minerals per turn, you'll get 200!


Civil Disorder:


when you accumulate 500 Disorder points(6 on the leader board), you wil lenter civil disorder.

dont worry though. at teh end of every turn, you will lsoe 75 points automatically, to help you in the beginning. but when your income(+1 civil disorder per mineral gained, not counting bonuses!) is over 75, you wil start gaining disorder points.


The solution? build temples(academies). i will make shrines later.(maybe not, since that'll make my temple check trigger 2 times the longer.)

Golden Age:


When you reach 10 Golden Age points, you will enter The Golden age.
i dunno about the number... but ive played so far and havent gotton golden age yet.

but when in the Golden Age you get 2x the everything, except animal and heigh bonuses.


The golden age last 10 turns.


ive tried playing it and everything works fine so far, except that it is a very slow start.
i have used the SEN them song in the briefing. clapping.gif


the regular check at the end of the turn is around 10 seconds with around 10 buildings, no hypers, no bonuses.
i expect hyper triggers to make it down to 1 second for ALL the players.

is there anything else you think i should add?
