Ok, this is me second tutorial and I thought I'd show poeple how I made Warhammer40000's sig.

1)New document
2)Filter>Render>Clouds
3)Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur at 3.0 radius
4)New Layer>Name it Brushes
5)Get grunge bushes at deviantART
6)Select a grunge brush and click ONCE in the layer named brushes
7)Do this again with more brushes
8)Keep going until you've got the desired effect
9)Add a render if you wish and you can choose to duplicate your render and make it bigger and blur it then set opacity to 50% and move it to some area that you like as it makes a nice effect.
10)Add text if you wish
11)Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Color Balance
12)Play with the setting until you get a color you like
13)Layer>New Layer
14)Move this layer to the top
15)Choose pencil at 1 pixel width and hold shift while dragging the pencil across the edges for a border.

shadow if these people want to learn they can look it up on good-tutorials. your just makin them lazy and might i remind you this is a Sc mapping forum

3 things. i wana learn how to make those swipes in your sig. second, i also wana learn how to make those cool borders you make. third, wheres this good tutorials website?

there was a thread on making rain effects, can someone give me a link to it please, im too lazy and i have to go now so i cant do it myself.

the reason of my all of a sudden intrest in photoshop is that i just got it, and taht im doing a school project where i have to integreate these few images together to show my personality, and i wana get an A, so if i know advanced pohotshop tecniqes, i can make something awsome, thusly getting an A

I didn't find it here Zombie, it was somewhere else and finding the grunge brushes there is very hard because I got those brushes a long time ago.

so how did you make those swipes in your sig?

its a render...

i still (beleive it or not) havent worked out how to make renders bigger....

select the render then hit Ctrl+t

Then click the thingys in the corners and hold shift (to keep it in proportion)

and make it as small or as big as you want it
