Update: 25 sprites. The sprites aren't to cover up anything, just make it look less bland. I placed a few too many of the ugh.. glowy one. Probably won't use that sprite anyways. The way it's turned out, I intend to actually use it. Thanks for the constructive criticism, and the entire absence of posts like "UR TERAIN SUKS UR SO DUM N00B!!11".

Besides the blockniess the tiles sizes fit well, I love it! it's great. try and improve blockiness. Use the side of the temple wall in jungle tile pallet for the pyramid, the would help blockyness alittle.

Improved the blockiness a bit after I woke up. Updated the screenshot.

did anybody else notice that the right side was the same block, but the left is 2 blocks? that's what it doesn't look right

Yeah, Paella he just fixed some blockiness on the left and forgot the right.

It looks really cool, the way you fit the water with the pyramid perfectly. Just try fixing the sides, which can't easily be done bit it is possible to make it look better.

Thanks for the tip. Fixed it so the sides match better, fixed a bit of blockniess, updated the screenshot again. Hopefully this is the last time i have to update this, but, of course, it probably won't be.

The sprites really don't fit, they're just there. Try and take out some of them, they make it look worse.

I know, I've been focusing mainly on terrain. But I don't want to have to keep updating this every time people find some little damn flaw. Well, whatever, here it is, bare and spriteless.

I like it when peole make things that you can actualy stand on.

Wow. So far everyone who's posted here has liked it. I've gotten constructive criticism... but that's about it. I guess I'm just that awesome. I updated the first screenshot to have better sprite placing. I'm not sure which is better, really.

Would trees and bushes REALLY grow out of a pyramid in the middle of a body of water?
Better sprites would be cool, if you used temple sprites, or something.

There aren't too many real good "temple sprites". I've left in vegetation because it adds color and keeps it from looking bland. Remember that this isn't given insane perfectionistic-laber-beam-super-exact-uber-great-focus. If I were to put it into a map, then it would. But whatever, I can agree, it didn't look too natural.

The only thing that could be possibly wrong with it, thus far, is the blockiness. But there's no escaping blockiness—it's always going to be a factor when creating terrain block by block.

I'd give it a 8 for originality and as EzDay2 said, for the fact that it can be walked on. Good work Theoretical Human.

ADDED: Although as SiLeNT said, the sprites were out of place, I think you shouldn't leave it bare. Possibly add some sprites that look like they're growing out of the structure to give it some life—make it seem like there's more there than just the structure and the water.
