Being that time of the year i wanted to see how you guys celebrate Esater, do you see it as an important time in your spiritual life or just a few days off from work/school. Do you go to church on easter, if so when? Theres differnt things going on all week.
I personally am sorta religous, so i think i will go this sunday, other than that though, its a time of chocolate and time off school
I'm not Jim Davis, so this picture obviously has faults in proportions and whatnots.
Nevertheless, I made it last year for Easter, and have been waiting a whole year to use it again...

Its just like a normal holiday, I'm sitting infront of the computer and playing WoW or Starcraft. Don't even know the point with this holiday, I just love them all

No school = FUN

aunts and grandMAS

Find easter eggs in the house and get mucho candy. How do you celebrate with no school???? Easter is on a Sunday; not like you'd have school anyway.
Well lets see for Easter I have a Ham dinner with the parents, nothing big. And I get chocolate from my grandparents, usually

I used to paint eggs with the yolk blown out of them and go egg hunting at this place..forgot it's name. Now I don't do much, except make avatars to accent the holiday...

Well i have alot of cousins that make it a big deal. Me a non religious type of guy just sorta has too go. I really dont care much for the holiday anymore. Im cool with going just becuz i see relatives but other then that each year something is different. back in the day (im the first grandchild) i was spoiled by all my aunts in uncles on that day now im too old for it anyway

My mom always sends me a box of candy.
Peeps and Bob the Builder!
Ya, I search for eggs, than usually just hang out with abnormal friends.
Family and alcohol
It's almost Easter....and that means....Jesus is back.......with a vengeance
I just have to get this out --
Bunnies have nothing to do with easter. Bunnies and eggs? They are like opposites. Birds lay eggs, and bunnies... do what?
I go to church on thursday, then on friday then maybe saturday and then on sunday and then monday. For this week. (Yesterdays one was two hours long). I don't think we celebrate easter much. Not even a special dinner. Just go to church a lot during this time even though I still go every Sunday.

Hmm...they pass out the eggs? And what does a fat guy in a red suit have to do with Christmas anyways?

In France, a giant bell supposedly flies in from Rome to distribute goodies. Pretty crazy.
Every Easter we kill 10 rabbits and bring them back. Whoever gets the biggest one gets an Easter Egg!
Not really. Go over a relatives house and have a party. Or one at mine. Nothing special. No church either... (tho we all believe, we just dont go that much)
And dont talk about santa that way! You wont get any presents this christmas the way your going! [/sarcasm]
No skool is kool.
The holiday itself is stupid, dumb and sux
Hmm..Quite frankly, I don't feel much different. Still have classes going on, Studying, and reading. Oh and of course, sign up to this site.

I just celebrate it cause of the candy and stuff

Well some people do, Called: Sunday school
I just see it as another day for big comapanys to make money.
What we usually do for easter is, my mom makes baskets for me and my sis and other relatives. Go to grandpa's house for more chocolate and candy stuff. I only did the hunt last year for the plastic eggs filled with coins(I know, I can be a little greedy sometimes). Then we go to my other grandpa's house to celebrate my big bro's birthday(I was thinking of getting him Halo 2 or somethin' but I couldn't afford it. And btw, he's 24 in case if your wondering). Then we come home and have a normal dinner and other stuff as if it was just another normal day.
For Easter, my family likes to throw eggs at grandma.
Easter is a celebration of when "Jesus" rose from the dead, this celebration is usually for cristians, prespetarians, cathlic...so on and so on
i do not celebrateeaster becasue i beleive in no religion i beleive everone has a religon of there own to praise to
