Ok this defense is a little different. And i have made this topic a little to late. So far i got the Terrain, 60% of the triggers , all locations done , forces done and map name done.

CMC means CroniC i dont know where the M came from.

Well anyways the terrain is on Ice(Arctic) and i have many shades. I hand drew all of it. Dont believe me ask some of my friends.

Every 150 kills you get a hero selector. Meaning you get units that are stronger then any other normal units.

Every 5 kills you get 1 mineral. so 25 kills = 5 minerals.

There are exactly 20 levels. But there are some secret ones as well.

If you get the secret levels and you and your team kill that certain unit you get lots of money.

In there beginning you are suppose to select a race (Terran , Protoss , Zerg) If you have selected zerg you can only build in certain areas. Because i dont want other players to get mad at their friends cause of the creep.

levels 1-10 are ground units and levels 11-20 are air units. So once you get to level 10 all the ground attacking things will be destroyed. ( sunken, lurker , reaver) and so on.

The explosions in the second screen is pretty trippy-cool. And besides the hydralisk in the mini-map, what makes this map different from all the other defense maps?

uhm i dont know the fact that there is bonus levels and u can have different options for terran and other cool features.

Yeah this looks like yet another disabled bunker defense.

So how are you preventing players from taking out their units from inside the bunkers?

On a side note, I don't think anyone is impressed by 1x1 tile drawing anymore. Now its all about "Extended Terrain."

Well some people does thinks it's cool with these 1x1 tile terrain... since it gives a nice effect on the minimap, but yeah... extended terrain is "in" right now

It doesnt matter how much you put into it. As long as the map has great game play it will be good. People are desenseatized now because so many disabled bunker maps have been made. But it really wont matter, because if you have truelly uniuqe and fun game play the map will be a hit. To many people judge maps on apperance now and it really bugs me. Should a map look good? YES. Does that change if it is a good map or not? Not really. Keep working at it and
Im sure people will like it.

I saw the first two levels of the map, everything works perfectly from what I saw. I suggested telling him to make a level with starport in transit mode. tongue.gif

Coz that'd be something new

Buildings in transit have been done before as well, actually.
