This one contains several bigger features, so it gets its own news post. We're doing full coverage of SCMdraft anyway.
- A new feature to allow users to open multipule views of the same map, or you can do multiple maps at the same time. This could allow for multitasking, working on more than one important area of your map, or copying a technique from a previous map to your current map.

- Locations added to the tree.
- Moving Locations fixed.
- Fixed bugs conserning autosave.
- Additionally the beta site has same code to make plugins for SCMdraft (if this becomes popular, SCMdraft may get its own downloads database directory). Give it a try!
Download it now! (Account required, but signup is painless and avaliable).
Hey yoshie at the risk of sounding like a compleat moron...Why is there no Trigger editor in SCM editor....thats seems like a vital part of an editor...i'm getting tird of having to go back in forth between 2 editors... to do triggers...SME had a good thing with there trggers that whent even in the origanle staredit...why whouldn't they put it in??? am i missing somthing...i am prepared to get wiffeled..
plugins -> trigger editor
been there for all prereleases, and the trigedit download has been available for almost a year
It should burrow units on map load, I'll take a look and see if I broke that sometime
ok, already fixed, the screen wasn't being updated with the burrowed frame on map load.
I got a question, what's the plugin sample coded, with C++ or VB?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
*ShadowBrood makes an evil smile I'll make a temperature converter for SCMDraft!

you can still use the code, you just cannot open the project files, you would need to make a new project and import the files
Yeah there are some CPP files that can be opened by any editor or something like that or am I looking at the wrong files...

I thought you could open the project just fine.
wow nice job this program and probaly help ppl get done faster on the layout of their map =D
SI, I thought you would make the triggers better like what you said in my post
huh?
I said this isn't the final version of trigedit, but I am not the one coding it, DW is, and he already has said multiple times the new version of trigedit wont be out until after the first mac scmdraft alpha
Would it be possible to write a plugin in Java?
In theory yes. I do not think you can make windows DLLs with java but you may be able to write a dll which saves the data to a temp file, launches a java program which edits the data, then loads the data back from disc.
But thats just over kill. Hmm C++ is annoying to learn.
Well SI, I hope you do something good at #7
was #6 not good?
I'm waiting to make sure there aren't any bugs found in #6 before I release 7 as 7 will probably be the last one.
So far I have not found any bugs in #6...Ill go fool with it a little and see what I can acomplish!
Nope theres no bugs
EDIT: there is 1 bug, you can't modify the damage for a siege tank and the duke tank.

I'm gonna need to put this in the clipboard or something...
just edit the turrets, the tanks themselves dont have weapons
