I was thinking that maybe we should have to pay minerals fees if we want to play games in the Arcade. Or there could be this little ticket we buy where we can play games in the arcade for free for a certain extended period of time.
A) Huh? This makes no sense related to the economy
B) The arcade will be pink-slipped with the advent of SEN 5.0
As in to make minerals of some actual use. With having to pay "entrance fees" for playing games in the arcade, people will start to actually value minerals and use them for things like this.
Thats assuming people want to play in the arcade. Im pretty sure most people have better use for Staredit.net aside from whatever mini-games it offers.
Even if the arcade was in v5.0 and you started charging I would NEVER play it again.
StarEdit.net Has an arcade?
Hmm, who'd a thought?
The arcade is going down with v5.
That wouldn't work. Everyone would just go to another site to play arcade games. An arcade site...
Anyway, there will be no arcade anymore.
It's sad tho... I actually spent over 30 minutes a day in SEN's arcade knowing it gives me minerals... it's a tragedy that it's gonna be gone soon
or n00bs will spam in the forums to get the minerals to play the games...
*Rhiom will miss the arcade
I think we should put minerals to a better use then they have right now.... cooler stuff in the store maybe?
Everyone loves "cooler stuff", but once they buy an item named "cooler stuff", they expect it do something specific.... and cool.
There could be two options:
1.) Play for free, get no minerals in return
2.) Pay based on how many you think you'll win, that is the max you can win for that session.
But all of this is useless, seeings how it will be removed anyway -_-
Maybe once sen v5 is actually done and completed, we'll make our own arcade script and flash games...
Perhaps we could get support of some of the authors of the popular games in the current arcade and get their source code so we can modify it for their needs. Since they give them out to other arcade scripts, it's a good possibility, especially if we promise them a nice big link to their site at the bottom of the game.
Or you could tie the faithful users of SEN down to their chair, force them to learn flash, and make them make games.. :/
But yea, if you do make your own arcades, I could probably make one or two games for ya
