Water Defense


Players: 1-7

Computers: 1 and extended players.
Objective: Water is spilling into the city! Keep the water out!

It is around 90% done right now. There’s a weird bug in my game not letting me go past level 3, and I’m trying to figure out what wrong.

It’s kinda based on Tarpit Defense except newer.

Features:


-You can choose your spawn place.
-Restart option, though the second time will be way harder because of the upgrades you will have, so you will have a new playing experience!
-Difficulty selection.
-15 levels + 1 Boss
-10 lives


I’m currently looking for testers, and any help would be appreciated.

Ya why is it called water defence, and also, it sounds kinda funny, I'm 90% done, but you can't get past level 3.

im done but in the game i cant get past level 3. though now its fixed, it was a SF error, i guess it didnt reconize the name when i put it in so it tdidint make the units, i chagned the name and now it works.

ADDITION:

ok the "water" is attacking. You are "barriers".
hope that cleaars it up.

Is there anything unique about the map? Anything other then what you have listed? Any properties or ideas that aren't existant in other maps?

No offense.... sounds pretty bland so far...
You should try implementing new ideas and innovations to such a cliche idea...

dotn forget though, this is the first beta testing, so it will look very bland.


hm...i havent though of any special feautures except of adding a bunker system in the next version, or this version if i have time.

also it will have a mass kill(kill all enemies on the map).

also it will have a ajustable speed of the uniuts spawning(i can goes as high as...1 spawn per 10 days, for example, depends on the deaths limit.)

also it depends on the numbers of kills to reach the next level, so all the levels are the same lenght, or different depending on how fast you can kill.

im gonig to make it that you can custimize your levels.

If you replace those letters a bit you can clearly find SWEDEN FENETRA. Fenetre means Window on french, but it is a little change there in the name, so it is FENETRA instead. Pretty neat indeed that I found that right?

And to the map, pretty cool map...

anyways, i found a few bugs i needa fix right now.

i noticed SC only uses liek 64 bit colors lol.

hm..ya, i was gonig to edit, but i wasnt sure,, since 8x8 is 64. is the whole game 8-bit?
if it is so, no wonder there are so limited colors...hm.



EDIT:

Alright, i fixed most of the bugs, now i need testers!


FIXED:
-A bug that didnt let the level start.
-A bug that let you keep buying drones over and over again.(lings diditn disapear).
-Fixed a bug when you used hyper triggers, it cause the spawn to go too fast, so i made it when you set on the hypers, the deaths counts have to go higher.

KNOWN BUGS:
-If you build a Creep Conlony, it crashes SC(must be that 2/1 hp effect).
-Hyper Triggers speed up the map atleast 10x, causing mass problem messages that say units cannot be placed.(FIXED)

ADDED:
-Options to select speed.
-Options to turn hyper triggers on or off
-Options to select weather you can move your spawn location.

COMING SOON:
-Buy heros
-Bunker system
-Mass enemy kill

I need testers to know how much damage the units should do, so ican balance it out.
Also i need them to find bugs and give me ideas.

lets see, how about 5:30 on Thursday(2 days from now) on Western time. i beleive that is 6:30 Eastern time...

COMIGN SOON:
-Will add custimizable levels.
-Will make the Water's path more, Complicated.
-I Might re-make some parts of the terrain, if it is requested.
