im gonig to improve it soon!
never seen this before though.
Sorry to say, but its not a 4 way waterfall. Its the letters AX with the same water tile with a piece of land coming out of it. Detail counts

Haha yoshi, i love your way with words. I couldn't have described this marvelous photo better.

Yoshi just saved four kittens. Gj.
Howd he save them if they wernt gona die in the first place?
I dont even see isom terrain... just a bunch of squares...
Uhhh this doesn't even look remotely like anything at all...

I thought kittens didnt die anymore? DK took it out of his siggy I believe. WATERFALLS FOR EVERYBODY! (J/k Dont overdo it)
That doesn't mean I don't keep count...
Good terrain requires a 3-D perspective. You need to make 2-D images appear to be 3-D, and that is the goal using tiles and sprites.

Seeing how the starcraft universe is generally isometrical, and the fact that nice terrain only looks great when its isometical, you want to keep it like that.
aha, i know, i wasnt trying to make it nice, i would just posting an idea i had.
though i could make it 3D with a lot of work, but im busy with my map right now, i always do terain last...
Terrain should never be done last. Terrain should be first so that you can see where the players will be playing.
You will also have to move locations once you start making the terrain after making the triggers.
It's just a logical order to ease the amount of work needed to make a map.
1. Terrain
2. Unit Placement and Properties
3. Locations
4. Triggers
That is the most efficient way to make a map.
Also it is imposible to make a 4 way waterfall and even more imposible to make one that isn't isometrical making sides go directly up, down, left and right.
The bottom part you can easily make but the top part is plain imposible because you can't rotate tiles, it'll always look going like it's droping from an upper part in the higher row dropping into a lower part at a lower row. You can't have a waterfall droping from a row lower than the one in which it will drop.
Also the side waterfalls would need to be at an angle to make it look like it's dropping at a 90 degree angle like in the picture. You would need to rotate the tiles 45 degrees.
I also find it easier to actually KNOW what you want to make before even doing the terrain. If you suddenly change your mind about something after doing terrain and triggers and units which will affect all of those then you have to change everything. Its especially annoying when doing complicated trigger systems
Right now this is a pointless post. Even if your waterfalls didn't look good, you should still keep the pictures posted so other people can actually know what everyone was talking about.
The picture is still, posted, I guess you just can't see it...

This happens all the time with me, which is why I haven't really released anything. It is a very frustrating process.
and Ax, about your water fall, I have to agree with everyone here that it's not great, but I have yet to see a waterfall that rolls forward, like yours sorta did, rather than dropping strait down like most out there.

You shouldnt blatantly plug your own name into the terrain like that.

Well that's a shot straight in the creative heart now isn't it? lol
Critizim. I gave a suggestion to make it better. Detail.
Everyones not required to say OMG ITS GREAT, but nobodies allowed to insult. We're all trying to get better a map making, its the reason majority of you are here.
aGREED

god, i think my tummy ruptured... what a pathetic atempt at 4way waterfall man... comon... im sorry but even newbs have thier opinions...
You could have done better.

I'm sure you could have put more effort into it

You are right about one thing though, I have never seen this before

I'm not meaning to criticize, but it's nothing to say "OMG GOOD WORK KEEP IT UP," to. It looks like a bunch of blue rocks surrounding a clan logo to me—where's the water that is "falling?"
Sorry, but this looks like one water tile place over and over again in 4 different spots. Try to make it look like a real waterfall, no squarness and make it 3Dish. Try again!

Lol I wonder what people would have thought it was if you hadn't said from the beginning it was a waterfall. My first guess would have been AX
I would have guessed it was a piece of terrain placed on a bound or the center of a fastest melee map, Devilesk.
