Staredit Network -> Ideas -> Having a sidekick...

I am making plans for what is turning out to be a single player rpg, but I want it to be at least a two player map. One easy solution is a side kick that doesn't really matter to much in the map. I was wondering if this would be worth it to implement, for a two player map. If you have any other ideas that would work better, I am looking for anything.

hhhmmm, maybe, a Boss later in the game, sence computer AI sucks, so it would be more chalenging for the player 1 to compete against a player 2, or maybe a healer, can heal certain times in the game, or maybe a traper, setting up traps, to catch player 1 and direct him where to go,

or like a map over view where player 2 has the whole map uncovered and directs player 1 where to go, OORRR have all the Display Text to player 2 and the job of player 2 has to tell player 1 where to go, so it would be like team work, well thats all my idea... so far. if i have more i will post

Interesting ideas...

I actually like the P2 reads the clues of to P1..

I've always loved two player rpg's on sc, or anything else that is based around one character, and the mapper adds one or more slots..

But,
A Side kick?
You could make it like,
A pet, a Zling, or something.. Not with shitty stats, but balanced enough that having it helps, or something... Anyways, the pet should be able to be ressurected, but each time it is ressurected, it devolves, Like, persay you start of with a .... Ultra? then you goto Lurk, lisk, ling, drone, then you well erm.. die? forever? sad.gif anyways, I think you should add that extra player wink.gif
