SCOURGEBALLObjective:Kill all oponents by throwing the "ball" (scourge) at them, like in dodgeball
Gameplay:*You control a shuttle filled with 8 units 6 units correspond to 6 locations on the other end
*If you touch an idle ball on your side you pick it up and it follows you
*You are allowed to have 2 balls with you at any time, you wont be able to pick up a third
*Unload a unit from your shuttle to shoot the ball
*There are 2 specialty shots which require you to have two balls at once
*A ball that is shot will go to the location corresponding to the unit you unload
*You can catch an incoming ball by using having it touch your observer that is following your shuttle
*If the ball hits your shuttle you lose a life
*Lose all lives and you are out
Systems Used:A pretty original idea I believe is the aiming and shot system used and the two specialty shots
In the beginning I also used a blinding system to blind the observers.
I use burrowed lings along the edges to act as a "move to here" if you go to the edges
Possible Glitch:I know there was this one glitch in earlier version and I don't know if it still occurs. Sometimes you can pick up a third ball, but I don't remember the reason. Had something to do with catching and the triggers. If you see it happen save a rep or describe the situation.
HistoryThis is an old map I worked on a few months old, started back at the beginning of the winter map making contest. If anyone would play it and give some feedback it would be helpful. I haven't tested it in a while and I think there are a few bugs.
Back when I was still editing this, I had unfinished tips/hints triggers that I need to fix and complete, with hints that appear at different times during the game, such as if you hold a ball for a minute without shooting it would display a msg reminding you of how to shoot and so on.
I was also thinking of adding different gameplay options, but I got lazy with that and it was around the time I stopped working in it. I'll continue working if I get some feedback. Since I have nothing else to do
