- Eucher -_____________________________[/center]

GamePlay:
This will be played just like the card game Eucher. I will state A brief Summery of the rules Here:

Seting Up:
1) The Deck is split into the 9,10,Jack,Queen,King,Ace (24 Cards)
2) The dealer deals everyone 5 cards with 4 cards left over.
3) The top card of the 4 Cards left will be fliped and the person to the left of the dealer will say if they would like that suit trump. If they say YES, The dealer picks the card up and The suit becomes trump. If he says NO, The dealer asks the next person (His Partner). His partner will almost ALWAYS say no as if he says YES he will go alone without the help of his partner. This continues until the 3 other players and the dealer have been asked (The dealer can tell himself to pick it up and make the suit trump).
4) If everyone says no then the card is fliped over and the person to the left of the dealer choses the suit for trump (Can be ANYSUIT EXEPT the one the card that was fliped over was). If everyone passes again and no one choses suit, it is a re-Deal.

Playing:
1) The person to the left of the dealer plays first (Plays any card he has).
2) The person to his left MUST play a card of the same suit played If he has one. If he has none it is a choice to throw a low NON TRUMP card OR Play a Trump to beat the other cards. (I will Describe Trump Later)
3) It then goes around until all player have played their cards. There should be 4 Cards played
4) This process repeats until one team gets more tricks (Wins The Hand) than the other.
5) If you get 3 or 4 Tricks you gain 1 Point, If you get all 5 tricks You get a Eucher (2 Points) If you get 1 or 2 tricks nothing happens.

Card Stregnth:
The trump suit can be ANY other suit. Even if a player plays a non-Trump Ace you could take it with a Trump 9. The Bowers (Jacks) are the strongest cardes but ONLY if they are in the trump suit. If they arn't, they are clasified as Jacks and are counted as 11.
Examples:

1) If the trump suit is Hearts: Jack Of Hearts (Right Bower) Jack Of Dimonds (Left Bower) Ace, King, Queen, 10,9. The other suits all the same stregnth.

You may notice I said the Jack of Dimonds, That is because it is the Same colour jack (red) But not the trump suit, It is the second Strongest Card. So if Trump was Spades the Left Bower would be The Jack Of Clubs. The Left Bower is CLASSIFIED as a trump card and must be played if the other players lead trump or you could play a lower card in the trump suit.

Features:
-The cards will be color coded to each suit
Red=Hearts
Black=Spades
Peach=Dimonds
Brown=Clubs

-You will select your card at the begining of each hand with a Diffler and cast DarkSwarm on the card you want to play
-Will Disable team chat as soon as you have your hand to stop cheating. You may talk during deals.

Sounds hard! I would play it, but only if the interface was clean. Maps with great triggers are ruined by bad terrain and screwed-up unit names.

If you're going to make a SC version of the greatest card game ever, at least spell it right.

->Euchre.

If it's well made I'll play it all day. Don't forget to implement the euchre (aka set, making 3-5 tricks when the other team declared trump) and going alone. Maybe screw the dealer too, or make it an option.

That's a really good setup. It looks clean, simple, and to-the-point. I just wish I knew how to play euchre. (I guess I do, from your explanation, but I have no experience.)

Hmm, I think you spelled the word wrong... By my understanding, It is spelled:

Euchre...

Switch the R and the E around, And you will be set to go...

Good luck on the map.

Ya i fixed that little thing up About the spelling...
The terrain is good the way it is it looks good and its easy
to see where the hands will be and the middle is where you
will see the cards that are played...

I cant really kick the dealer out because in Euchre you need the person to the LEFT of the dealer to start calling trump. Also without the dealer who would pick up the card? How would you know if the dealers partner would go alone if he told the dealer to make it trump... I think you need the dealer

Then don't kick the dealer out, In all famous games, There are always dealers, So just keep him smile.gif

Who said anything about kicking the dealer out?

Screw (aka stick) the dealer applies when the upcard has been passed all the way around twice. If screw the dealer is active, then the dealer is forced to call something; he can't pass. If it is not active, the next person deals if the dealer wants to pass.

Maybe you're talking about going alone...When calling trump, make some mechanism such that you can go alone on that call, and just don't have their partner play for that hand.

Maybe, He was thinking of kicking the dealer out? crazy.gif ... But the game wouldent be possible without the dealer smile.gif
