I was messing around trying to pick up a nuke when I found if you put the probe that has the hallucination is next to the probe that is supposed to pick it up (so they are touching and you dont move when you pick it up) you can pick up more.
E.g. If you have 3 nuke silos, hallucinate the box thing and then pick it up, and put both probes next to eachother (RIGHT next to eachother!!). then when the hallucination dies, build the 3 nukes and kill the probe. Your probe now has a pylon shadow. If you move it crashes. (That is why when you normally pick it up by walking by it crashes).
I have only tested with nukes. I know my friends have done lots of testing with this, but Im not sure what they have done or any of there results.
Interesting... I might be tired but I can't really think of a practical use for it. Still messing around in editors is fun so congrats on finding something unusual/newish.
It has nothing to do with an editor. It is the powerup glitch and it is a in game trick. Can we see some screen shots please?
yea, screenshots would be nice. im gonna start seeing some of the ones that normally crash then. and unit 3281 is the weirdness.
hmm i want to see this sounds cool
and if what you are saying is true then i think i found a new trick im going to have to use in a map i make but if its one of those things were it works once and crashs the next time then well hmmm gonna have to think about it but post that screen shot bro i want to see this thing ....
Lemme get some scrnshts.
You have to be facing a certain direction, I cant remember what one though...
If you don't face that specific direction they will crash, but you will see it for a second
So when ever you get some screen shot
But anyway, It sound like a neat teleportation trick for a rpg map.
Did you read the one by ÐeathKnight? he found this and I was saying I found you can pic some stuff up that he claims crashes.
