Here Is My First Attempt At Terrain:

Umm, nice job... too bad you can't add stairs going slant.
I think that the elevation is whack...
the top part of the stairs looks like it starts on ground level when it should alredy be in the air by quite a bit
well this was my first attempt at terrain
so sry that its not erfect
yea i agree with odd angel. too many sprites for coverup for my liking but its a tough tileset to make perfect which is why i never bothered making one for it.
well on the second picture its not covering stuff up with the bushes except on the stairs
Elevation is off.
Stairs don't connect properly, distict tile line in the middle of the stairs.
i know but with the typw of stairs i used it is almost impossible to add a perfect angle were the "Tile Line" is. so unless someone can do bete=ter tell me plz
Well using the amount of sprites you threw in, i think i ould blend pretty much anything.
You can easily blend a staircase like that. I've seen it done before and I know I've done it myself before. The most you would need is 1 sprite to cover up a blocky spot. And I'm sure you could find a way of getting around that also.
how do u blend the "Tile Line"
I think, quite frankly, what everyone is trying to say is that you could have done a better job—and that you should re-do it.
i will im just saying that was my first try ever at making bending stairs
Wow you guys are complete assholes to him. He obviously has no idea how to blend them better-he's already asked three times-and all that you can say that you have done a better job. If that is the case then post a

ing screenshot and show him how. I have not seen the so called "tile line" blended well in any staircase, especially in jungle. I'd like to see yours.
No one feels the need to reply now? Help the new mapmaker out, since you have all perfected your versions.
thnx man this was my first attempt
FaZ-, where's yours?
I'll create one when I get home tonight to second my opinion.
Besides, we're not the only assholes here. You called him a "new" mapmaker more than once and stated that "he obviously has no idea how to blend."

... He said himself he doesn't know how, and I consider someone doing something for the first time new to it, don't you?
I don't make terrain, I just enjoy looking at it and/or thinking of ideas that could possibly be done. I don't really map at all anymore, for that matter.
Well, my mistake then.
In any case, Elves, you need to cut one layer of tiles out so that it would match up better—right now it looks a bit uneven.
And also, the first one looks much better than the second one. "New" terrainers make the mistake of placing too many sprites sometimes and it's quite frankly corny-looking.
Nice try.
This is what I made quickly, I found it very hard to match it... Actually I think you did a very good job even though it was your first try. These are mines, do better than that all you flamers... post your own if you are so "good" map makers that you think you can compete with his.
prety cool. All of em. Its slightly blocky, but i think its unavoidable. Nice job...
When doing double ramps, you need to do like Chrono did and make the bottom of one connect with the top of the other. That way there is no elevation loss.

Yeah, but it's impossible to make the shadows match
Although the shadows are a problem, they're not the main problem.
The main problem is where the two ramps come into contact with each other. There is just no way possible for them to be cleanly intersected with each other.
