I'm finishing up terrain in my rpg! So i decided i might as well just post it here!

Anyway Here's some crappy terrain from my not so crappy rpg!

[attachmentid=8056]
Spooky McSpook Town
[attachmentid=8057]
The Mines of Mordor! (not really)
[attachmentid=8058]
Spider Cave Thing!! AAAHHH!!!1!one!
Suprisingly the minerals add a nice feel, I haven't seen them used that well before. That looks pretty well done.
I like it, it adds a good feel to the space terrain. It doesn't look like space. Which is what I hope you were going for.

That IS what i was going for, it was supposed to be like, enclosed cave type dungeon thing, or something... whatever YOU think it is, thats what i was going for!!

Actually, it seems nothing but crap! Pretty good!
seems like it would work good in an rpg, i like the last picture, it really reminded me of the spider cave on lotr...
Wow.... This really isnt what i was expecting to here when i posted these, i thought i was going to be chewed out for sure, for using too many sprites..
Glad to know people like my terrain!

I like it because it isn't jungle.
Good point there Tux, PEOPLE THINK OUTASIDE OF ONE TILESET!
(iE : Dont use jungle anymore...

)
Anyway, thanks tux, the terrain for this map is getting harder however, because i was making sewers but now i dont know how i would give it that 'Sewery' feel
Or how i would make a forest, because if i place the sprites for trees from jungle the turn up really blocky and sick...
If you DO think of a way to make a forest or good sewers in space terrain, tell me how you would do it... or post it here!
FaZ-, I believe it's the fact they're being used in the space terrain that makes them look that good.
Especially that dark elevation of terrain...
Kow, did you remove the shadowed town?
ya, those shadows were annoying and made everything all blurry,

Anywho, ya, but i think i might use them for something else!

Never seen a spooky atmosphere like that in space terrain. Good Job.
It was even spookier before.
He had it where there were enough disabled buildings to cover the whole town in shadows. It was pretty tight looking and added a lot of spook-factor to the aura, but it was blurry.
Yup, there was no possible way to cut down on the blurriness so i had to scratch that idea
No one has any ideas of how to make a forest or sewers in space!?

I could make you a forest—probably sewers too.
If you used the disabled barracks idea, it would work quite well for the sewers idea, to give it a scummy aura.
kow, how about using creep as sludge in a sewer...
it gives a good sorta "scary" impression with the crystals and the dark...
MmmmMmm, Sludge sounds good...I...er,
(off subject but still for rpg : Does anyone know of any scary music from some video game that they've played? i need music for my rpg

)
For some reason im begining to wonder if people know of any of the doodads outside of jungle... when i showed this map to someone their comment was,
"Whoa, i've never seen THAT doodad before..."
....

NOT good
I made some music, I didn't think it was that great, but it apparently gave someone nightmares.
I'm sure that most people on sen have seen most of the doodads. (If they check the terrain forum)
Haha I really like the name Spooky McSpook Town. It sound really scary indeed!
Terrain looks pretty good. For the "mines of mordor" I think you should take out the (forgot name) crystal formation/mountain thing. I don't think it blends that well with the mines.
Ya Kaboom i think your right, that and some of the minerals arent aligned correctly on the walls, it looks kinda funny to me,
Spooky Mc Spook town isnt actual name of town just so you know

And rantent, can you please post the scary music here? im really dyin for sounds
And i still say that most of the people limit themselves to a certain number of doodads, for example the jungle sprites.. But i do think that people are begining to realize what OTHER tilesets are

PS ::Mines of mordor my least favorite one, anyone have ideas of other places my heroes of the labyrinth may visit?
Here's the
Music. I personally think that It might need a little adjustments as to where it ends and such. In my opinion, it's pretty good for only having 7 beats. It might be a little short for you. Maybe if you could add on to it...
As for other places, when I think of labyrinth, I think ofthe movie with David Bowie.

As such I think those sort of scenes would go pretty well, the hedges, dungeon, swampy place, and overall dreary areas. Make the wall of hands! (cause it would be awesome.)

Wall of hands?
I Haven't downloaded the music yet, but thanks for posting it anyway!!

EDIT- Brawrl, wrong thread.
Twilight ChurchThat was actually posted in this forum. It isn't isom though, but I would think it would be possible to transform it. What tileset do you need your church in? You didn't specify.
