First one is a mech shop. On the bottom left of it is a repair... thing. Seven sprites. Second is a strange spotaneous idea that's EXTREMELY sprite intensive. Seventy-four sprites.
The second one would look really cool with some well placed fire sprites beneath the smoke.
That was my first impression too, this would be a great forest fire. And it seems you could cut down on sprite pretty easily, simply remove some of the brush you can't see. I like it though. The first one wasn't as good, but I like the idea you had for it.

the seocnd picture could be real nice in the desert terrain. For an RPG, like a sand storm comes or something with trigs.
I like the first one the most. The second one has a nice effect, but with the sprites as they are I probably wouldn't use it. I wonder if you could place dark swarm units to the same effect, though...
I think so, but they wouldn't work on cliff edges, I think. (Well they don't place their for me.)
The first one would be cool in a Gundam Wing, Mech Warrior, or Armored Core type of map.
I like it Theoretical Human, it's very original and great-looking!
the first one is really kool, i like the miniramp, mabey u can make it without the doors though, the second one would make a good forest fire thingy...
I had something like it back when I was thinking on making MechAssault for StarCraft... But you guys know me.. That project was canceled
I had it with normal ISOM terrain and Personaly it looked better then that

thinking about the second one... u could use disruption web, and it'd be flooded forests
Disruption webs look more like large spider webs, as shown in Rantent's jungle piece.
I think MiniMoose's idea for the second one (disabled, flaming building) sound's like the best alteration possible for it. I also think that design would only look good on the desert tileset.
I definately think Theoretical Human's works should be put in the Hall of Fameāhe's showed more originality and skill than most of the people who have already been placed in the Hall of Fame.
That's just my opinion, though.
The second one is in desert. It was just a "hey, what if...". The only problem with using units is that you can get unit unplacable messages.
not buildings

I've gotten unit unplacables with Dark swarms... well, maybe it wasn't them. If anyone would mind taking a few seconds to check, I'd be grateful. Or else I'll just do it myself.
