I sometimes dream parts of days before they happen, which causes some pretty serious déja vu.

I sometime dreamed of things that happened a couple of years in the future...

Personally, I believe our souls run out of our body at night. They go away and explore the mysterious areas of time and space without us knowing it.

Yea, something like that has happened. I would doubt that anyone has not had an experiance of Déja Vu.

I've only seen this in some cases where I feel like the exact same thing has happened before but I can't remember when...

It's kinda creepy...

lol... my teacher was talking about this today... We were joking around then he said, "hey i heard that somewhere.... Wait... i think i heard it on Friday.... Wait wot did i do on Friday... o Ya i slept... Hmm... where did i hear that from....?" that kinda freaked us out.... Then later on he says, "Hi did i say good Afternoon?" our teacher was only in his 20-30s so he aint too old.... But stilll taht is kinda scary... I have had dreams where they make sense but i don really want them to happen...

A DeJa Vu is something where your brain thinks about something then something wierd happens and you think youve done that before... I think that is wot it is

This topic shouldn't really be, "What is it." Should be more like, "What's with it?" or "How is it caused?" If that's what you're really looking for.

I had it before where I swore up and down that I had seen a movie but it had just come out in theaters. I knew every part of the movie before seeing it. When I went to see it I found i was right and everything was the same. I hate that movie now.

Yep, This old basterd been bugging me alot. I have dreams to places where that I will later go, And as before. About 90% of my dreams have been coming true. I been taking notes on each dream I have, I'll write down every details that I remember. Then about 2-5 days the damn thing will came right up to me. For example, Before my School Dance. I dreamed that I was dancing with someone that I knew, but we were dancing the whole time at the dance even when everyone was gone, before the music ended. We were still dancing. And also, My friends where there too, and this happened back on Friday 4:22:05. I don't know why most of my dreams have been coming true. I wake up at 4:00A.M. everyday, and go back to sleep, then I'll have a dream about something, after that dream is over, I'll wake up back at around 5:30A.M.(530 hours) Some people think that I'm just making it up, So that's why I write them the notes for prove cause the next day, I'll show them the notes, and tell him. "Watch what happens in a few days" I suprise so many people cause of my dreams.

It has happened to me plety of times. I and doing something then I remember that I have been in that place before but can't quite get when or how I got there before. Sometimes I get mad because I want to know when was the other time I was there but I just don't know. It is like knowing where something was lost but you forgot and you try to hard to remember.

I've had deja vu alot. They feel odd to me like its a back flash but its not it feels as if something happened again. I kinda dislike the deja vu feeling its odd to me.

It ALWAYS SCARES THE **** outa me...
For example I almost have a deja vu every freaking day disgust.gif

Example: Yester day I was sitting in my Georapy class when the teacher started teaching us about the population graphs and such... But for some reason i knew everything already even though I never did a population graph before I somehow managed to do it perfectly without any one tell me how to do it...
It is REALLY freaky when this happens...

It really sucks when it happens with the movies because they arnt exiting anymore... I just go... "Meh this guy will die when he walks around the corner" and I was rite my Mom looked at me and was like "... uh... How... Er... WTF?"

Yeah, we've talked of this in class. It's about the eyes see something late, but the brain already saw it...or something like that and that make you feel a strange sens of déja-vu.

When you know this it's a bit less "mysterious"

well, its easy to predict movies, sitcoms, and shows. I do it all the time. Its just the same jokes everytime. The same things... But this deja vu crap, i like it... adds something to our boring lives... or does it delete?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TheDaddy0420 on 2005-04-29 at 00:39:05
I heard some where that while every one is talking around you, you are half zoned out and there fore before your brain interprets the conversation or what ever that you are having there is like a 3-6 second delay before your brain actually hears/records what is going on. So thats why some people are like omg I know everything you are saying. something like this.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Wilhelm on 2005-04-29 at 01:07:33
Deja Vu, the true Deja Vu, is simply when a visual stimuli enters the memory section of the brain immediately, as opposed to.. whatever else happens. It's simply something messing up. Predicting the future, however, is most likely predicting events that aren't extraordinary or far-fetched, IE, you're simply good guessers.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)RuFF on 2005-04-29 at 01:25:13
ive had such cases and at times, something happens to me, then i suddenly realize that it has already happend or I have seen it. Sort of predicts the future.

I remembered the entire first half of my 8th grade, and the last fourth (what I currently am in).

I remember once me and my family went airplane-camping (my dad has a private 6-seater airplane; anyways you go to some place in the mountains (like idaho) and (you have to know some areas) then you land and pitch a tent, or put a tarp over the wing). Anyways; we were in the mountain camping. When we were about to leave I had a strong feeling that something was going to happen and have to do with falling. I suddenly got a picture of being in the airplane at about a 45 degree angle (the airplane angled downwards). Ever been in an airplane and get the normal thought of engines dieing, etc? Amagine that times 10. Well anyways we landed. it was fine I thought it was just that fear. when my brother thought he smelled burning rubber, you just think the tires rubbing on the runway. we were taxiing ("driving" in an airplane) along, when it started getting stronger. We almost got the the hanger when *BOOM*. The front landing gear collapsed and of course fell, and we were angled down at about 45 degrees. Coincidence? I think not.

Also I have had just like images flash in my head about seeing something when I was very little, then they happen years later. My sister once said that she had a dream about two towers burning and falling. About 3 years later 9/11.
