Well, this topic is sort of weird. Once, my mom dreamed something and then like 2 weeks later, in real life, she had the exact same vision in her dream. Well, not only that, but in other people's lives, some dreams come true, while some dreams may be a forewarning. Another dream that happened to my friend was that her mom dreamt that my friend would die from skiing and then the mom prayed like hell and wont take my friend skiing with her..it is sort of weird i'm telling you i read books and some people have dreams and they come true. Another case was that this old man had a dream of two trains colliding at a railroad nearby his house. The next day he woke up and then on the radio, it said two trains collided at a railroad near his house.
So, do u think that some dreams come true?
Look in the Deja Vous thing and some people have said stuff like this.
Yea i agree, many dreams can come true. Some people might interpret them as warnings or foreshadowing.
Just don't rely on them to see what will happen... most dreams are just random thoughts and ideas of the day and random from everywhere swirled together in a blender making a giant heap of randomness. But some may be very accurate in predicting.

I wish I knew how they do this. Could it be a very strange coincidence that happens alot? Or does it have to do with this "Religion" stuff people speak of?
Dreams are a wall of color bouncing off your eyelids as your eyes roll crazily in REM sleep. Your brain interperts the optic nevere impulses into a coherent image based on whatever happens to be on your mind at the time. Dreams have to effect on events in your life whatsoever (though events in your life effect your dreams).

Deja Vu*, as far as I know, anyway.
I don't believe in the whole prediction through dreaming thing. It seems to me like it is more coincidental or even people just think they dreamt certain things afterward.
Deja Vu thread. but still, yep, it seems everyone has it.
I've never had a dream that came true afterwards just like that. Not anything that wasn't an every day occurance anywyas.
I did recently wake up from a bad dream that was true. (that was weird)
it happend to my friends as well :[
How can people be so superstitious? You can acredit anything to magic. For example, you could say that you can move ballon around with your mind, (you know, the half inflated ones that half float, they sorta move around alot), and that hwhen they don't go where they wanted to, it was some other person. But, it doesn't make it true, it makes you dellusional. I did that ballon thing once, but I was just messing around, seeing if I could actually do anything.
Well, I think that things exsist that we cannot yet explain through the use of logic, but that does not mean they are unexplainable or magic. I have never actually had one of these forshadowing dreams you are speaking of, so I'm not quite sure what the experience is like. But I have encountered things that I couldn't explain. (This is not just like magic tricks, which are quite lame when you know the secret)

Well, the only way I can relate to what everyone is saying is that at times I feel that perhaps I have done a certain thing before. For example, something happens in class which I could have swore happened before. So perhaps it happened in a dream, but I just forgot about it when I woke up... X____x; I'm not sure, but that's the only thing I can think of right now.
But I'm not too fussed about such dreams. It doesn't really matter... as long as an nightmare about the world ending doesn't come true then I am fine. ^_^
I might see something that I see later in the future

weird!
Alot of my dreams are pretty much dejavus or have the same atmosphere/tone as other dreams. I find that interesting.
If you could see a "Vision" of whats to come when your asleep then maybe it would be possible to learn how to control it and be able to have the same type of "Visions" when your awake.
When u're asleep, u basically have no common sense
Sometimes, you take some of the most retarded scenes in your dream too seriously and you feel very odd about it.
My dreams are extremely and very random. And they tend to change a lot mid-sleep, too.

Umm... actualy, "magic"
is soemthing that we don't understand, and if we can't explain them through logic, then they shall stay "magic" forever, as logic and arbitrariness are just about the only things humans understand.
Er... is there anything else
to be understood?
Although I'll sooner believe that these are coincidences, I won't completely disregard the possibility that this foresight is existant.
The vast majority of my dreams have no possibility of ever coming true. My wacky Halo dream with Cortana and the burning cards, my recurring Matrix-themed dreams, that time I dreamed I was an Zergling, a Vortigaunt, and a clone trooper (in that order), a certain dream featuring Asuka and Rei... You name it. These dreams are so bizarre that they cannot possibly be realized in the real world.
99% of the nights, all I see while I sleep is blackness (no dreams). When I do they are completely random and messed up. like I could be leaving my bedroom and end up in the school cafiteria. then I could walk out a door in the back, and be in new york. Then I could walk into a building and be in San Diego. Then I would end up at my grandmas house, then find a door that was never there, and walk in and be back in my room. Then I could walk into my closet and be sitting somewhere. Then I could pick something up and be walking down a staircase.
If you understand what I mean...
I once had a dream that Homsar was driving me around in a car, then it turned out to be someone i know only through the internet in a costume. We then drove off a cliff, got out of the car, and went up a strange building with all kinds of really unpleasant bugs. I don't think that one's ever coming true.

I guess I can relate to that. Sometimes when I have nightmares, I shall wake up and think that what I have just dreamed is about to really happen.
Actually, that's only happened once... and that dream was about ghosts... I woke up... very scared... I then ran to the light so I could turn it on to only to find that the power had gone out... just like my dream. So I was kinda freaked out. But I got over that quite quickly though. =P
Sometimes, i can control myself in my dreams and when i get to a dream on where monsters rule, i kick their butts. Knowing that the time i wake up, i'm pouring in sweat.
In my dreams I can control what I do. Unless something happens that completely messes it up (like I said before, I could walk through a door and be sitting).
Ever had a dream where there is a murderer, burgler or something and you try and run but your feet feel like you have a 100 lb. block on them (you can't lift them off the ground very far or run)? and your like "OMFG! I WANT TO RUN!!" because you cant walk very well. I hate thoes.
well i can control myself too...
but guys, is this possible
lets say i have a dream, and in my dream is a person i meet. Can the person i meet be a real person in real life and be dreaming what i'm dreaming? sort of complicating, but do you think people can communicate through dreams?

I have those dreams from time to time. However, I make up for my inability to move with a very powerful firearm (M249 SAW, Desert Eagle .50 Action Express, M4 Carbine w/ attached M203 grenade launcher, etc.). Those dreams usually end when I kill the murderer/burglar/something; it then transfers to another dream.
