Extrasensory perception is perception occurring independently of sight, hearing, or other sensory processes. People who have extrasensory perception are said to be psychic. It is commonly called ESP, a term coined by J.B. Rhine, who began investigating the phenomenon at Duke University in 1927. ESP refers to telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and in recent years, remote viewing and clairaudience. The existence of ESP and other paranormal powers such as telekinesis, are disputed, though systematic experimental research on these subjects, known collectively as psi, has been ongoing for over a century in parapsychology.

Test your ESP: http://www.mdani.demon.co.uk/para/esp1.htm

Some people actually have the power to use ESP powers. Very weird. Surf the net and you'll find a lot more interesting stuff

Maybe you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

I have a book that says that there's no solid evidence that ESP exists. So who's right? It's up to you to provide evidence for your claim. This is the burden of proof that every positive claimant must endure.

At this point in human evolution ESP is completely impossible unless you are a rare mutation in the gene pool. That's because we only use a little bit of our brains, about 10%, which covers everything. Meaning that it's used for higher brain functions and subconscious minds. Now, if we were able to use more of our brain, there is a slight possibility that we would gain a slight ability of basic precognition and maybe even the ability to move small rocks and pebbles with our minds. But unless we evolve beyond our present state of evolution, we won't be going anywhere.

On what evidence do you base that claim?

They have decided that you use about 10% at a time, but you indeed use all 100%.

If we were at 100% all the time, wouldn't we have like sensory overload or something. And be aware of like EVERYTHING.

Not really, because how would we use all 100% of the time? We would have been adapted to it, so it wouldn't affect us, except we would just be able to do more with our minds. (not sure what... but who knows)

Im sure most of you have heard about that. If you can show them any paranormal ability under RESEARCH conditions they will pay you a million dollars.

ESP = No evidence it exists.

Yeah, I've heard of that challenge. So far, they haven't paid anybody the million dollars yet (to the best of my knowledge). Only when that million has been paid to someone will I believe in paranormal abilities like ESP.
