I don't think they should do too much of this stuff. Its not really that good although it is pretty cool. They are still messing with "nature" and mutating animals.

Only few animals can mate, because of the species. Some speices are just close enough to eachother that they can make. Like a Liger (Lion/Tiger). For a Liger it has to be done a specific way (can't remember; and I may be wrong), and most hybrid animals are sterile. (My local zoo has a stuffed Liger that was alive when my mom was a kid)

I think its a mule (?) is a horse and a donkey. And they are used because they get both the good things from thoes animals. (can't remember)

I was giving one example, I think before I may have said that they are usually sterile? I'm not sure. (Havn't been in "Serious Discution" forum in a while)
