This map, Melee Duel Arena*, is basicly like the map DBZ Budokai and all it's other versions, except, mine will NOT be rigged. Since its a melee dueling arena, there will be no cheap "hit and run" moves. All the units will be balanced for a fair game. Of course, some of the spells will have range. Their are 3 characters you can choose from(must be choosen in the pre-game chat room): Szalor (Zealot), Kamar (Firebat), and Berzon (Zergling). Each character will have its own unique spells/abilites. To use each ability, it will require curtain amounts of Acute Powerful Devastation points (APD), depending on the power of the ability/skill, for it to function. APD automatically regenerates 3 per second, the maxium of APD you may posess is 450. To win, you must kill all our opponents, also, if your low on health or something, you may tag your partner. While sitting out your health is being regenerated (medic). There is a tag time, meaning once you tag someone, they may not tag you for 5 seconds. Therefore you may not sit your opponent's tag beacon in safety... at least.. for 5 seconds wink.gif

Tri-Slashes
APD: 100 per Fenix (300 in total)
Damage: 66 per Fenix
Description: creates 3 Fenix zealots for a short limited time to strike your enemy. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Gigantic Sword
APD: 350
Damage: 600
Description: Creates a gigantic sword (reaver), capable of long-range, for 2 seconds.

Dual Thunder
APD: 100 per Fenix
Damage: 110 (expolsive damage)
Description: Creates 3 Fenix dragoons to blast your enemy.

Stinger
APD: 25 per interceptor
Damage: 25 per interceptor
Description: Creates a stinger(carrier) loaded with 8 interceptors to blast your enemy. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Fusion Sword
APD: 400
Damage: 850
Description: Fuses your 2 psionic blades(dark templar) make a deadly strike on the enemy. Lasts for 3 seconds.

Thunder Beam
APD: 30
Damage: 60
Description: Summons thunder(scout) to attack your enemy from the sky. Lasts for 4 seconds.

Geist Strike
APD: 75 per archon
Damage: 150 per archon
Description: A ghostly strike lasting for 2 seconds

Tri-Fire
APD: 100 per firebat
Damage: 62 per firebat
Description: A sudden burst of fire to burn your enemies. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Fire Burst
APD: 40 per marine
Damage: 40 per marine
Description: A twin blast of fire that shoots toward your enemy. Lasts for 4 seconds.

Fire Burst x2
APD: 80 per ghost
Damage: 80 per ghost
Description: A twin blast of fire that shoots toward your enemy with double the damage, also has farther range. Lasts for 4 seconds.

Fire Burst x3
APD: 120 per vulture
Damage: 120 per vulture
Description: A twin blast of fire that shoots toward your enemy with triple the damage, range has been shortened. Lasts for 4 seconds.

Fire Mine
APD: 30 per mine
Damage: 233 per mine
Description: Lays mines where your standing. Lasts until mines are used.

Hell Raiser
APD: 225 per battlecruiser
Damage: 400 per battlecruiser
Description: Raises the flames from Hell to burn your opponent to oblivion. Lasts for 2 seconds.

Acid Cannon
APD: 200
Damage: 200 expolsive per hydralisk
Description: Summons a cannon full of highly toxic acid to poison your opponent. Lasts for 4 seconds.

Berzon Jr.
APD: 200
Damage: 33
Life: 1888
Description: Creates a lesser version of yourself (Broodling)

Tri-Rush
APD: 100 per zergling (hero)
Damage: 15 per zergling (hero)
Description: Creates 3 zerglings (hero) to savagely attack your opponent. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Berserksion
APD: 350
Damage: 850
Description: Creates a infested terran to bomb your opponent. Lasts for 5 seconds

Kuku Blast
APD: 100
Damage: 80
Description: A long-ranged cannon summoned from the sky to shoot your opponent, guardian. Lasts 2 seconds.

Solar Array
APD: 250
Damage: 200
Description: A shot sent from the sun to burn your opponent, mutalisk. Lasts from 2 seconds

Shotgun Fury
APD: 100 per mutalisk (hero)
Damage: 110 per mutalisk (hero)
Description: Makes your punchs 4 times as fast, and as painful as a 90-gauge shotgun from up close. Lasts for 2 seconds.

Savage Beating
APD: 150 per ultralisk
Damage: 200 per ultralisk
Description: Reaches deep down into your fighting spirit to beat your opponent like a savage. Lasts 3 seconds.

Hey hynk this map sounds really good. I mean that. I love your creation for your terrain, looks good. I really like the mini cliff that looks pretty cool. I like these kind of maps, one of my friends made one, and me and a couple of my other friends also made one.
It wasn't meant to be very good though, and my friend did something that screwed up a lot of spells, but oh well.

kool, how long will it take for AP Fully charge? How many spells will you allow be casted at once? Because if be evil if you allow 2 spells be active at once causing more damage to player. Should also let them pick different modes as well, like how many rounds could have maybe, like Best of 1:1, first team to kill all players in battle wins, or 4 rounds but ya. Good luck =)

Hmm... maybe I should put this in the first post... anyway... AP Damage can be fully charged to 450... and the highest a spell could drain AP is 400.. it automatically charges for you constantly (3 AP Damage per second). To win the match, you must defeat all your opponents, also there is a tag option so if you run low on health or something you may tag one of partners, unless your partners are dead that is.
Note: I've changed it from ARD to APD



I know I haven't updated much in the post but I've been busy trying to get the units to be evenly balanced so they don't have any advantage over each other, other than abilities. I will try to get this balanced A.S.A.P so I may start working on triggers and stuff to get tests going.

Kool, if you have enough room within map is possible add mini-games for players whom not dueling, like when player tag just remove them from minigame center battle and so on. Just incase some people duel for awhile in middle. Well i dont think we be testing for abit till you got main stuff done. But hope see good progress soon happy.gif
