Is it now impossible for someone to turn from an ordinary member (white link) to a regular (green link). Because i remember it use to be where you become a regular once you have 200+ posts.

I dont think it works now. If you look in the members list, the "member" that has the highest post count would be Yenku with his 560+ posts

And if you look in the "regulars" list, the person that has the fewest number of votes would be en taro shrimpy with 138 posts...

Someone forgot to re-enable moving from members group to regulars group after karma was disabled.

IF you were once a regular you will always be a regular. Remember that time when Yoshi removed all those posts counts, thats how some regulars have less than 300 psots.

I didn't "remove" posts. It was when I moved topics around by removing some forums and putting the resulting topics into garbage because the posts in those forums were trashy. I then did a post recount, to not count the new spammy posts.

And the post recount didn't demote some people from being regulars that had most/almost all of their posts in those topics? Currently its 300 posts and you become a regular right smile.gif ?

Yes it is 300 posts but I don't think it is in effect anymore.

Ah well.... maybe they'll put it back in effect someday smile.gif . This question kinda goes along with ranks, I've been taking the default titles that SEN gives as your posts go up and was wondering when it gives a different one besides "sexy beast" as I seem to have been stuck on sexy beast for a while. My guess is it's at 300 but I won't know for sure for a bit ermm.gif .

Posts, Post Count , Profile, DLDB, Tutorial DB will all transfer from SENv4.1 to SENv5
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2005-05-07 at 22:09:04
How long can we expect the transfers to be?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-05-07 at 22:56:27
Couple days.

You don't come to sen for power.
anyways, so the promotion of member to regular is disabled, but promotion of regular to elite is still enabled?

Next couple of days? Yoshi said like around summer.

No, the transferring of the post count, DLDB, tutorials etc... will take a couple of days.

SEN v5 however, will take a little longer.

trust me, we can cope for a few days without all of the things here... SENv5 will be the r0x0rz!!1!

Um, no. The whole transfer might take a couple hours, not days. I'm pretty sure they'll just have the scripts that change v4.1 to v5 setup before the move.
It'll just be tons and tons of loops and moving. smile.gif

I mean, if they (The scripts) ARE setup before the move then I bet the longest it'll take for the forums is like 45 minutes. The DLDB, however, might be a bit longer. smile.gif
