This terrain isn't exactly finished, but I thought I might as well post it, since I've yet to think of a way to improve on it since I got done with the basic idea. Crustructive criticism would be appreciated. I'm aware that above the small door the top two tiles are not the correct ones, I'll fix it once I get some feedback or when I feel like it. tongue.gif

Looks pretty good although it might be better if you could somehow make the tower less blocky and make it taller.

add one of the spinning satalites on the building part to make it look like more of an airport.

I don't think they spin they do not move. Unless there is another sprite that is a spinning satallite.

There are spinning solar panels and stationary satellite dishes.

If it's an airport I wanna see planes. But seen as this is terrain you're working on I think the tower needs work (soz for repetition) and maybe add a few hangers...no ideas for them, sure you'll figure something out tho.

I might be too small for the larger part of the airport but for the tower the map revealer sprite would fit it.

After a good session of alteration, I've improved the airport quite a bit. There's still no hangers, as I don't know what those look like. A picture might help. I might add some in a little while, if i can find a good picture. Right now, I'm gonna play Tetris.

Nice. but the little repeating "wheels" at the bottom of the tower structure make it look like a really big bus

Kill the slight blockage on the tower (Somehow) and it's 100% perfect. I love it, great job.

put wall traps on the tower to kill the blockage, and mabey add some other lil sprites to make it look cooler...

Nice work, even though the tower looks blocky it's very nice done, and if it is an airport you shouldnt forget the planes!

I tried to lower the blockiness with flame traps, I really didn't like how it looked. As for "wheels", those are just spots on the tiles, I think they're adoor and something, and that you're looking for wheels in the image.. I've come to conclusion that the tower, if made less blocky, will not look like a control tower.

Map revealer would work well... I just dont think it's the best thing to use. Theres a high tech spinning thing in twilight terrain. i think its the 2nd doodad sprite.

That one looks ugly when placed in badlands. Remember, the palette for each tileset is different, when you place doodads from other tilesets they have a tendency to look ugly.

I'm pretty content with it as it is. The hanger would require shrinking the airport or adding a good deal of asphalt.

dude, airports are big. so go with the adding more asphalt
but its really cool.
