Im making a Clan Featured Recruitment Map 1 step of many processes of joing Clan [F], Clan [F] = Clan Featured a new Map Making Clan / Waring Clan

If you are a map maker or your a legit Melee player and you want to join a new constructive clan, with good leaders, and a stable site please post in here, but anywase about the

Recruitment Map: its a serious of questions, 48 questions and you can only get 2 wrong.

But remember, not only do you need to pass the Clan F quiz, you also need to show us a map made by you, without any help, if you want to join a melee side alls you go to do is face a leader , "General" - please PM if you are a Map Maker with no clan, or a Legit Melee Player

What kind of questions will be on the test? And are you sure you can find people with enough patience to sit in a game and answer questions?

Answers about Map Making not gonna list the questions, but generally about Map Making, and being in clan.

and if they arnt willing to take 10-15 minutes out of there time, then they wouldnt have enough patience to be in clan =]

and also i have decided, once you show us your map we will judge on how good everything is, if one of us decides its an exellent map, you dont need the [F] recruitment map, and if its a Ok map then you have to take this test, if you are a begninner map maker, you need to take this test, twice.

They take it twice even if they get it perfect the first time?

they take it twice, to show that it wasnt guessing, and the 2nd time will be with a different general-major, "only if there map is "ok" or they are kinda new to map making"

I don't really think a recruitment map needs a production thread. Especially when you provide no info of triggering, gameplay or terraining involved of the actual mapping. This sounds more like publicity if you ask me.

You don't even need one switch unless you're doing randomized questions, which would be cooler.

i used like 28-30 switch's, and over 80 triggers for player 2, so dont tell me that you dont even need 1 switch, >.<

probably because theres Test(A) easy questions about map making, and Test(B) questions about our clan and the site. and Test ©, telling us how we made the triggers what your looking at.

He's right, you don't need any switches. Death counters are more efficient and save strings.


So they have to basically idolize you and your clan to get this section right? This is just a game after all, and there are tons of clans to choose from. And I have a feeling most clan members of any clan have no idea about their clan istory or anything of the sort. This seems like something you don't really need in a quiz map.

Hey, I know alot about the clan history of Mp), since I was a part of it. Not so much for aE though.

Ah okay I get it now. It just seemed kind of odd that you'd have them memorize the rules (kinda) and then quiz them on it. Most of the time, all the rules are pretty much the same anyway.

and x-plain to me how to use death counter as a option to A, B, C, D

Start here

Option A: Set Death of Unit to 1.
Option B: Set Death of Unit to 2.
Option C: Set Death of Unit to 3.
Option D: Set Death of Unit to 4.

Then if B is the correct answer:
C: Player has suffered exactly 2 deaths of Unit.
A: Display Text Message - "You are correct! The answer was B."

When the question is done, set the deaths to 0 and do it all over again.

Edit:
Oh and you could use the leaderboard as a counter for correct/incorrect answers. Ore = correct. Gas = incorrect. Or something like that.

Ok Finished [F] Recruitment Map, finaly, 2 questions are debatable.

if you miss 4 , you dont pass, but you have an option of showing us a map.
and you must only pass Part A, until you become, a Private first class, then you take part B

Uh thats a basic mapping skill, Why would you rate mappers on their skill when most of them are probably better then you at it? (most ppl on this site)

Its a game, so why do you need a constitution, and so many rules? Heres some rules you should put in place of your "constitution":
1) Have Fun
2) Use the Golden Rule : Do unto others as you would have them to you

Thats all you need, but probably one or two more.
