He's asking how to use the outer glow, bevel/emboss, and gradiant effects to make good text. For reference, look at the "DEVLIN" in my signature. That's what he wants to do.

you know with photoshop, you can create layers right??
(if you dont know what that is just go on to the next post..)
well, create a new layer, write something in there. now on the right bottom hand corner, right click your layer, and click Blending options..

Simply follow the directions in those tutorials and you can make some cool text.
