This is a problem I encountered and solved, but since other people also seem to suffer from it, I'll explain the obvious.

In your Signature editing option, you can add the link to your Hosted Signature Image so it will appear in your signature. The problem is as follows, using my own account as an example.

"After you upload your signature, the BBCode for your signature will be:
[img]http://www.staredit.net/uploads/sig-602.jpg[/img]"


Note the file extension. The problem is that if I uploaded a .gif or .png file, the provided link will still say "jpg". Therefore a manual correction must be done, or else my signature would instead say "user posted image" instead of displaying the image itself.

Is this tiny bug fixable?

They are converted to jpg's. So there is no problem.

What about animated .gif
