What's pixel art?

pixel art is art that you makin in ms paint. And all though it says pixel art i'll accept line art too, basicly, anything original. O and, forgot to say, no VIDEO GAME CHARACTER SPRITES! unless they are line drawn. Othen then that anything is acceptable

ok i hear MSpaint everywhere... is MSpaint the paint thats in Start>Programs>accessories>paint or is it a downloaded program?

I said it before, and i'll say it again:
"MS" refers to "MicroSoft", and MSPaint is the standard Winblows picture modification program, that comes with Winblows unless you decide not to install it.

Wait, Im confused... what do we draw? do we draw anything? (as long is it is acceptable by SEN and the few rules given)

Here is a list of things I would like to know:

1. How big does it have to be? or any size?
2. Color specifications (Black and White (monochromatic), 256 colors, 16bit, etc.)
3. What is the picture supposed to be about?

1. He never specified a size, but pixel art generally doesn't get too large, so I don't think he'll have any size limitations
2. If he cared about color, he would probably have said so
3. He said what not to make it. Generally, that means "Anything else".

Yep your rite, i dont really care what the image is or how it looks just as long as it follow my rules and SENS. And, i will also take consideration to judge your pic based on what you say about it or others. I feel that because one may not be able to draw as good as others does not mean that we need to call it "Crap" to him/her it might look good, but i will not buy into things such as "This is my first drawn pic" or "first time using an animation program"

Animation? I thought we were to use MSPaint?

He never said that it has to be done with MSPaint though. He's just inarticulate, and knows that most pixel-art is done in MSPaint. When I pointed outt hat what he was thinking of wasn't pixel art, just "original" art, he had someone fix the title and changed it.

I SERIOUSLY doubt that you made that door animation...

Well, according to his posts, it's anything is allowed except for pictures that are not your own, such as if you were to draw, say, Eddy from Ed, Edd and Eddy. Unless they're line-art.

I think that he just forgot about it.
He's going somewhere for summer vacation, and probably won't think about SEN much
