If you want your own @staredit.net email, this is for YOU.
Before, the old email system we had a few months ago didn't want to send messages. I took it down because too many newbies didn't know how to wait for me to figure out the pop3 and smtp settings.
Now I've figured it out, and reinstated the email service. But I'm not going to make the same mistake. Take note that:
Although tested and proven to work, Staredit Network does not yet guarantee the stability of this email service. If for any reason bugs or issues occur, please report them in our feedback forum. It works, but if problems occur it may be taken down
If everything seems to be in working order for the next few weeks, I'll add the email system "offically". If you are not the type of person who absolutely requires this email, DONT USE IT YET. Wait until I make it offical.

I urge you to test it out and report bugs. There are so far NONE, and it seems to work perfectly.

Yea, this will be great! Also, what if someone got smart and found a way to use your E-Mail addresses to join? That would be funny, if you ask me, if you know what I mean...

Oh no! How horrible
The whole point of email activation is so that I know people are serious about staying. Most spammers and lammers are too lazy to register otherwise.

Accually, I'm not. This script is PHP driven as well, which uses a catch all email address.
How it works, is that usually, all emails that dont exist go to another email (mikelat@staredit.net). I rerouted them to the script, so if its not by me, then it goes to the script. If the script doesnt have a registered email, sends one back to sender. Works sorta like hotmail.

I got the e-mail, and almost immediatly I got mail! I opened every one to find out I have fans! Thank you for reading all my wierd posts! And if you want to send me a message but are too lazy to look up my e-mail, it is flaming@staredit.net! Just don't send me junk/ viruses! By the way, is their a virus filter? I was just wondering for my computer's protection....

There is no virus filter, then again viruses cannot be recieved through this just by opening a email. You have to open the attachment (and your stupid if you open one from someone you dont know)

That's not entirly true, there are some things that auto open programs when the e-mail is opened, so you don't get a choice! Anyway, I'm not that stupid!

LOL! If I got an E-mail from him, I would probably say, " Hey, Can I have a, you know, free computer? I mean, you got tons of extra money! Please Sir!"
