Ok, I have finally finished my map, Galaxies End RP 4.0, and was going to host it where I hosted version 3.9 (trickznstuff.net), but, they've now put a restriction of map size, which 4.0 exceeds.
Anyone got a place where I could host it? Size is about 3.2 MB... (Yes, it's big for a map.)

I now realise that we have a map database, but I'd like to host it in more than one place...

Umm, I couldn't upload here either. Either I don't know how, or your max is only 500 KB, meaning, I'm over 6 times too big.

Try getting a basic internet host and posting it on a site. Some free sites do allow downloads that exceed what you need it for.

- It takes up my webspace. If mappers send it in by email, they wont send it unless they think its the best thing since sliced bread
- N00bs will think that their computer has frozen while submitting maps
- No one likes crappy maps that are over 500kb

Heh, an older version of it hosted at trickznstuff has over 150 downloads, so I assume that people like it. My friends on B.net also report that older versions are popular, so I think I'll send it.

I'm Glad you feel that way cause of if a certain unnamed anti protection program were to leak its way onto this site (I'm sure you know what i mean) I would stop affiliateing you and stuff. Of course thats my policy with all the SC sites I link to.
