They do work on bnet, though if you want to play the mod with someone they have to also have the mod, or they drop when the game starts I think.

SOME mods will drop you from games with other people. And SOME mods do not. Example: If you change images, it will not drop you. You can patch potential crashes without dropping, like set doodad state crashes, etc.

All mods that I make will not drop you.

And devilesk, they don't drop, you do.

This was made for 1.11b but I'm pretty sure it also works on 1.12b without dropping.

Most mods work on SC. I personal favorite mod is the hard computer.

The mods I'am making, Both people you are playing with MUST have the same mod launched, So one or the other does not drop.

Bleh same thing, your games basically split, you don't disconnect do you?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Puni(F) on 2005-05-25 at 15:21:09
No, You don't disconnect, You drop from the game and go to the previous channel you were just logged into. But if the mod is serious, You may get disconnect to starcraft can reload all of the required files.

Lol... is it time consuming to make mods, or is it relatively a quick process?

Wow, how do you run the mods with Stardraft? -.-
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2005-05-25 at 18:02:42
Don't use StarDraft, it's old and outdated.
Most mods come in .exe's, just double-click them. If they're .mpq's, then use MPQDraft.

If I remember correctly, then it drops you if most of the players are using regular SC, but it drops them if most players are on the mod.

And

as has been said, many, many times in the past, including in this thread, that's only if you're the only one with the mod.

how do i load a mod i got to i dl and i dont know to run them
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2005-05-25 at 18:28:39
If it's a *.exe, then you just double-click it, unless you're using mac, in which case I can't help you.
If it's a .cwd, then I dont' know, because the .cwd loaders I know of are outdated and don't work anymore.
If it's .mpq, then use MPQDraft.

Some times the mod will open starcraft for you...

Or you can open starcraft, And sign into b.net, Or just open starcraft, And run the mod.
