It'd be nice if anyone saw this one excellent tutorial by General Mengsk.
A link would be perfect...I couldn't find it myself. Google has failed me.
Anyways...it covered the basics of modding and taught you how to make your own mod right then and right there.
Hell, if I saw it I might start making maps again...

Some mods at (http://www.infoceptor.net/) are made by Mensk.. Go check it out.
