1.) Open up Arsenal 3
2.) Open Unit Editor
3.) Change all the units weapons such as Marine's to have C-10 Canister Rifle
4.) Create a folder called Weapon Editor Mod
5.) Save in your folder all your weapon edits to units.dat
6.) Close Arsenal 3
7.) Open WinMPQ
8.) Click New, and type in weaponeditor.mpq
9.) Click add, and find your units.dat
10.) You'll be asked a question in a menu and type in arr\
11.) Exit WinMPQ
12.) Open up MPQDraft
13.) Click Create Self Executing MPQ
14.) In the custom name box type Weapon Editor
15.) Find your .mpq of weaponeditor.mpq
16.) Save your mod as Weapon Editor
17.) Click Next
18.) Click on the starcraft icon
19.) Click on the "CAMPAIGN EDITOR" icon
20.) Click Next, then finish.
21.) Keep Your MPQDraft on!
22.) Do everything again such as click Create Selft Executing MPQ
23.) Type Weapon Game in custom name box
24.) Find your units.dat
25.) Save your mod by clicking browse on the second button and save it as
Weapon Edited Game.
26.) Click next, and click on the starcraft icon and click on the other starcraft icon
and click next, then finish.

does this include just marine weapon or all weapons?

all weapons also i had to update the text.

its a program to edit units and such go to ddl to find it

umm wut r u talking about?? dude 26 isnt as much as I wrote. its quick, it just depends on how much changing you do on the unit's weapons.

no its not. i used your tutorial and it screwed up my aresenal 3 which i had to re-install it again.

My tutorial explains exactly what I do, and what I've told my friends to do, and it's never messed-up for any of them.
Hell, I don't even see how any of it effects Arse3. Sure, it uses it, but how the hell can it mess it up?
It's just bad luck.

but have you went over how to use the weapons you changed into an editor? so you can actually make a map while the weapons stay the same.

I decided not to say the blindingly obvious, as that shouldn't be necesary, and if you can't figure out something so simple on your own, you really shouldn't be modding.
I figured out everything in the tutorial, and much, much more on my own without help, and that was when I was 11.

No, If you are going to take modding seriously, Your going to need time, And patience.. And all of those programs
