Man that's awsome! Are those going to be links at the top or something? I am making a website for all my maps and stuff, but I can't make graphics for it. I just use tables and stuff... The link is: http://www.n00bie010.cjb.net/ (NOTE: Sorry for the pop-ups, just keep clicking 'No' if they come up, they will go away after a while. I am going to get a new host soon.)
I wish I could make graphics as good as all you guys... :-(

It's not really a site template.... Just a picture. There's absolutely no HTML in that so it can't be a template.

Still cool though biggrin.gif

Just bcuz theres no HTML or sliced up images, doesn't mean that it's not a template. Although, techincally, its not one right now. I'm sure it is supposed to be in teh future.

n2o, it's pretty good if you like grunge style, but i'm more of a shiny-guy, lol. Although you did a wonderful job on it! 9/10

I'm also a web-designer, check out my 1st template which I am currently making a PHP bakend for.

I can help you make that into a Template. It's going to be easy except for the dark grey area which will need a bit of HTML testing to see when it's just right.

First you will have to remove the links. Cut those links and make them another image. Where the links where, just fill it out.

Those new images will be the links. Using <a href="Link"><img scr="image.jpg"></a> we will have our image links.

Make sure that when you divide the links into separate pictures, just cut them up into a long strip that contains all the link in one image and then cut them up. That way they will fit in perfectly. Also make sure that when you fill in the empty spots, that it will make it in such a way that the link images will blend in perfectly.

Now we will set the new big image(with the links cut-out) and set it as the background. Now I'll need to figure out an easy way to put text in that grey box. I'm thinking of making an invisible table and then centering it. I'll also have to put limits on it so it won't go over the grey area.

It's not as hard as it seems. If you can give me the background image and the separate link images, I can make that into a Template quite easily.

You could do it as one image on a mac smile.gif
Not having to separate images to get parts of them to do stuff is nice.

It's pretty good in my opinion, nice color choices.
Only thing I don't like is the text and stars("Made in China", "Narcotic", forgot the other one)

Well thanks!

If you want to learn how to make cool stuff, first you need a good program to do it in.

Type 'Adobe Photoshop, Trial' in a google search bar, and download a free trial. Then, go to http://www.Pixel2Life.com and click on the photoshop tutorials catagory. A large list of different photoshop tutorials sub-catagories should come up at the left side. Try doing most of the basic tutorials first, then work your way up! Then if you really get into it, you can purchase books and learn HTML, or possibly learn how to use Dreamweaver to make templates.

Digital Art can be made in many different programs, as well as many different styles, but for the most common types of digital art, there is Photoshop to make them.

I hope this helps not only you (n00bie010) but helps all the other people who are new to web design and digital art.

Well I do know HTML for the most part, and some basic PHP, and actually my friend has Dreamweaver, and has messed around with it, but hasn't really had any luck. But thanks for the help.

you don't even have to cut it to make a html version, even if cut would load better smile.gif
