At the moment, America has no border with Mexico. Thousands of ilegal immagrants hop the border each year. Many die becuase they drown in the Rio Grande river or die of thirst in the desert.

How do you think America should deal with this border problem?

Illegals make up a big precentage of the people in our prisons. California's school and hospital system are almost to Bankrupt status becuase teachers have to be able to speak spanish, classrooms are over crowded and our hospitals are overflowing with illegals who can't be turned away (against the law to turn away a hurt person).

There is around 11,000,000 illegals in America right now. I am sure most illegals are hard working, good people. Its the bad illegals we have to stop.

I think we should moblize the national gaurd or military in each southern or northern state to the borders. That would stop almost all illegals from crossing the border.

If you want into this country, do it legally....

For once I agree with the Republicans. Keep the illegal imigrants in Mexico...

Here is the ideal solution to this problem:

1. Increase border security with Mexico temporarily
2. Improve conditions in Mexico permanently

*Edit* Isn't there some program that allows southern farmers and whatnot close to the Mexican border to get Mexicans annually to work for a few months and then return to Mexico after the harvest?

Here is a good question... Why do we have very tight border control with Canada?

It's not like they want to come here -.-...

But the solutiong to keep them away is this:

Put watch towers along the border, And have military patrol the perimmeters. There are way to many illegal immegrent's coming to this country.

I dont think we have to worry about too many starving Canadians who need a job, illegaly crossing the border.

I really don't think that the guards are gonna blast the illegals' heads the first time around, n2o-Simpsons. Maybe a few warning shots here and there, but I really don't think that they'll resort to deadly force unless threatened by the illegals themselves.

I agree. The guards should have tranquilizer darts instead of live ammo in their sniper rifles.

I don't understand why the illegals can't just immigrate legally. They should let whoever wants to cross the border cross the border, but monitor them to make sure they are hardworking or are actually doing something here and trying to make a good living, not just be a bum

Well... you have to face the facts. Illegal Mexicans are taking our jobs.

There is two ways we can help to stop this (we'll never fully solve illegal immigration)

1. Shoot on sight. Catching the sneaky mexicans and just throwing them back in Mexico isn't going to do anything, they'll just keep trying.

2. Never elect John Kerry or Hillary Clinton. They will probably both be trying to get the democratic position in the 2008 election. Definately don't vote for them.

But if they were to lower the minimum sentence for prisons or even make drugs legal, that would help the whole prison deal. And help lower crime. (Just like prohibition) But if they're not gonna do that, em. Then chances are, I'll go repub.

You wanna know why the Mexicans are taking "your" jobs? Because people like you are too lazy to even GET jobs! With all the job openings left by people like you, the Mexicans are bound to take them! Don't blame them for taking your job; blame yourself for not getting a job in the first place.

wow... that strawberry douche known as maddox is an idiot. He obviously doesn't know how hard it is to find jobs sometimes because they are all taken by a sloth of mexicans. You can't just walk up to an employer and tell him to hire you and to fire the mexican and guarentee to him your going to work harder than he is. Plus, even if we are working HARDER than these hispanics, then we still won't get the job because where we are making $10 an hour, the hispanics are making $2.50 an hour, which is the equivilant of FOUR americans... it disguists me that no one listens to my side of the story because they think im racist...

Theres nothing racist about wanting a secure border. Plus there isn't very many jobs in this country in the first place, the avaliable ones are taken up by illegals.

I kind of agree with Maddox it's not the immigrants fault, it's the employers. Hell if they want to work for less money let them if they are going to work just as hard. But oh well that's life, the employer wants to save as much money as he can Lol I think they are smart for hiring illegals who will work for less money than others But when I try to get a job and that happens I'll be pissed.

That's how i truly feel, however if i went on public TV and had the balls to say that, i would be considered a huge racist...
