I love starcraft and warcraft a lot. I love blizzard a lot. I think that warcraft 3 is better than starcraft because of the power it has. Ive been yelled at a lot from people when i ask them why they think starcraft is better. I say that wc3 has more power and better graphics(on full settings at the highest res it can go it looks ing awsome[lags me out like no tommorrow]) I know that lag is a problem but in a few years it wont be. Thats not a problem against the game but the time. People say they like starcraft because they have to think a lot harder to get better maps. With modding they dont. The same people that yelled at me before are going crazy because modding was put here. I just have to say its kind of making me mad. Modding is harder than editing in wc3 and yet wc3 is faster and you get the same power over battlenet much easier and more effective. I dont understand this. maybe people cant accept that wc3 is better. They tell themselves its not. Wc3 got so much more fun when i upgraded my computer. I guess the lag is a bigger problem than i thought. When people have computers that will run it like nothing it will be a lot better game trust me. I guess in the end im telling people to try it(without the thought of hating it). I cant wait for PR to come out so i can play sc with the power of wc3.

Mapping and modding are different things.
Mapping changes the way the game works, modding changes the numbers of the game.
And, even with modding, producing something special is special.
In WarCaft 3, it's not really anything special if you make a map with completely new graphics and everything. It requires a lot more tmie and effort in StarCraft.
Also, StarCraft is 2d. Many people prefer this, for various reasons, as do I.

Maybe people can't "accept" whites are "better" than blacks.
Personally, I don't believe the above statement. But some do.
The same applies to WC3.

theres nothing proven that whites are better than blacks. Both are humans they have no diffrences but the pigment in the skin. Thats all. This is diffrent. there completely diffrent games. 2d isnt better than 3d. Would you want to live in a 2d world???? And your saying programming spells, customizeable units(way more customizable in wc3 editor than modding that doesnt require sc to uninstall to get rid of), Unit model files in 3d are hard to do. Your nuts. And effort is something that happens it takes effort to get something done. The amount is basically how fast you get it done and how good it is. This applies to all editing and doesnt differ. And doing what you can in the wc3 editor is the same thing you can do in the starcraft modding world(the 1's in which you dont have to reinstall starcraft to get rid of the mod) and people can mod wc3 because its being done with PR(SC 4 WC3)

SC to get rid of a mod you delete the EXE or .mpq or both. No mod requires you to completely uninstall, unless they actually edited a file of StarCraft, but in that case it should be in a different folder, etc.
Every mod there is a way to remove without reinstalling.

Also the reason I do not like Wc3 is the 3D. Starcraft is better because it is simpler. I hope they make StarcraftII just like StarcraftI but with more triggers, units, better graphics, higher resolution, higher color, etc. If your going to make a 3D game, go all the way and make like a Doom game; if its not going to be that, make it like a Starcraft game.

Also, all of this is completely based on opinion. There is no such thing as a "better" or "worse"; they only exist in ones personal world.

You can do it several ways.

Some mod's come in .cwd format, And require you to put it in the starcraft directory.
To make a .cwd file stop running, Simply close Starcraft, And delete the .cwd file.

Also, The mod's that come in .exe format are easier to handle, You can simply close starcraft, And close the .exe. (Closing the .EXE is optional if you want it open for some odd reason) Then just restart starcraft through the CD, Or simply the Starcraft.exe file.

Deleting like 2 files complicated? naw.

Yes, to just play a normal Starcraft run the Starcraft.exe

Deleting the 2 .cwd files evrey time your done with it would get a bit annoying after a while.

When you can just close starcraft and run it again.

to get better graphics you need 3d. A higher poly count and a richer skin. SC is highest 2D graphics you will get. Triggers like wc3... The 3d helps mapping so much. You can make awsome cinimatics with it. Also the camera angles expand the environment(so cool to look at a crazy battle at like a upper side view not god view. 3D rocks(i live in it why not) meh. As i said before starcraft and warcraft both are really good. Starcrafts older so it wouldnt be as good. Thats like comparing the best computer in 97 to the best computer in 2001. Huge improvements were made in that time. Or the nation in 1997 to 2001(september 11th changed this country.)
