Im thinking of a map were u are the captain of a bc. The u have to give order to your team(other units) and your crew. The team orders would centered toward macros and the crew order are centered toward micro. And by micro, i mean micro: if a ennemy unit come from the right, youll have to order first "turn right" to your pilot and then "fire ahead" to you shooter. The team orders would be simple: follow ship, assault target(more explain on target later), attack target, and so on. It would be hard to understand and hard to control. And the point of the map is that its a instalation map! You dont even have to see your target! To select target youll also have to give a specific order like "select nearest cible" or "select cible ahead". It would be great... give your suggestions and possible obstacles!

Wow... great idea... I cant imagine how much time it would take though. If its possible, go for it. Turn fantasy into reality my friend.

That would be an amazing map. Major problem would be having enough players to play all the necessary roles for a good game. It'd be cool to be able to play against other players that style, but it'd be even more difficult, due to the above problem. I mean, you'd need a launcher guy, radar man (watches the fight to see which way to shoot/turn, etc), a guy to control steering, and a captain for orders.

If you had CPU's and two crews of three each it would probably work out, and would make for a fun game (the captain could be the look-out himself, or radar man as I said earlier). Again though, you'd need full house every game. Also, if you want to keep it from being TBS, and stay RTS, then you'd have to make sure it would be quick and easy for the pilot/shooter to do their thing.

1st of all, i dont want to have 1 player for each role. I mean theres not 1 player who act as something and another who act as captain. NO, i want ALL players to act as captain. So 1 comp is enought...and remember that with starforge we can place 255 player! And im perhaps n00b but what is TBS? I know FPS and RTS but TBS?

By TBS I meant turn-based strategy. I see how you're planning it now. That'd be much more cool, but a little less... roleplaying I guess is what I mean. Again, Good luck on this.
