[sarcasm]Ouch, nice counter-claim.[/sarcasm]
I'll expand on what I said.
QUOTE
Competition is caused by instinct.
Darwin's theory of evolution: adaptations to survive enables a species to be better at competing. Surviving promotes reproduction, thus increasing competitive genes in gene pool.
QUOTE
Fighting arises from competition.
Observe it in nature.
QUOTE
For humans, want of revenge is derived from the losing a fight.
For animals, they know defeat.
A man fights back no matter how hard he's beaten. Which is considered a good quality, especially in drama TV, etc. An old lion, however, gives up his position when a younger, stronger male beats him in a fight. Death rarely occurs from the fight itself.
QUOTE
Animals, who know when they lost, know of no hatred (except that one rogue elephant, different story). Thus we humans feel hate because we are stubborn, not because we are intelligent.
Hatred comes from stubborness, I don't know how you can disagree with this. To hate is to be recluctant to forgive, and the dislike part results from it.
