Once in a while in this community, we see many new things and techniques right in front of our eyes.

We learn more and more that our imaginations are never limited by staredit, but more, our imaginations are limited by our ability to create.

It is the reason Staredit Network exists.

As an experiment, I wanted to create a map that has a countdown timer that counts upwards. Doesn't sound hard like this. With this, I also wanted Starcraft to accually TELL you whats on the timer. Example, if the countdown timer says "1:42pm" then you'll hear a sound saying "The time is now one fourty two PM". Using the LEAST amount of sounds possible.

I have done it. Download it (scm).

Notice: The map has been left unprotected. I protect maps to prevent map stealing, not prevent others from learning things. Its fully commented so you can see how I comment my maps smile.gif

BUGS:
to make it NOT say "the time is" do it once then hurry and go back on the beacon

if you step on it and it says the time when it's at like 5:00 it will say "the time is 4 am" (does this for every other one too)

SUGGESTIONS:
Instead of making it say like "the time is 2:6 am" make it say "the time is 2: O 6 am".

When it's at something like 5:00 make it say "the time is 5 O clock am"

Other than that it's PERFECTION! Awsome job.

This isn't a real map. Its not a matter of balence, it was experimental.

If I plan to use this for the future, I'll fix those. Otherwise, not for this smile.gif
