I understand. Perhaps if you made it a V shape and put the area so that it made like temple steps then it could appear as a 3D building, with layers of walkways. Just make them larger at the bottom and smaller at the top.

Bridges with... rain?

True, the waterfall/rain sprite doesn't work with it.

I did not understand what you were trying to get at. Even after the explanation I was still trying to see the point of your terrain. It seems a bit odd.

Looks like a triple deck bridge in the rain.

You gotta squint your eyes to see it.

I can see what you were trying to do. I tried myself, but it is quite hard. Anyone know what is the smallest cloakable unit that keeps it's shadow? I think it would help. Anyways, here is my multiple layered bridge:

Well, not exactly what I had in mind, but pretty close. my idea had flowing water between it, but I gues thats near impossible to look not-blocky.

Maybe give the bridge an edge so it doesn't look like it has the wrong perspective. Similar to Theoretical Humans - where there's a vertical placement. Just put it at the edges. Apart from that... I got no clue..

I still have trouble seeing you picture (it is like looking a t 3D object and trying to find another way to look at it) but I kind of get it now with TheoreticalHuman. The concept is nice but it will be pretty hard to make it look nice and easy to picture it.
