I noticed when I tryed to submit a .zip file to the DLDB, It would not let me, It only allows .wav format.
Maybe you should have it so we can submit .ZIP's.
It depends on what category you're submitting into. Some accept .zips, some do not. You have to be more specific.
When I try to submit sounds to the Music Themes, The sound effects, And Other sounds, All 3 don't support .zip files.
Yoshi doesn't want ZIP files of sounds for some reason. Even though he himself has submitted wav packs, and I myself have submitted all WC2 sounds in seperate wav packs.
Because then people submit "sound packs" which render the seach function useless. If you submit a sound pack lets say, and include a sound called "Waterfall" or something, it won't show up in searches. No zips encourage people to submit sounds seperately.
Let's say it includes Yoshi sounds, and you search for Yoshi. It brings up a few results including the sound pack.
