I need some help with deciding a terrain tileset for my map. 
It takes place in ancient fuedal japan and I cant quite decide what kind of terrain I'll have. Any help appreciated.

*I think you should make it on Badlands and use the brown dirt.

Badlands and jungle are the most versatile. For what you're asking, it sounds like jungle would be a better pick. It's always nice to see a map on a lesser-used tileset, though.

Yeah, I would say Jungle, because you may be able to use the Temple and Ruins tiles as the buildings of the Towers that Feudal Japan had [can never remember what they're called]

I'd say Jungle would be your best bet for Feudal Japan. They're Jungly out there aren't they? Besides, it's a good tileset anyways.
